Monthly quest 2nd boss

Tyrant82Tyrant82 Member Posts: 2
I been trying every strategy to beat sasquach the 2nd boss of this months event and no matter what I do he stays in unstoppable, outrageous healing ability, and I even went down the despair mastery path and it's suppose to slow down the healing yet he is still getting all his health back instantly when I'm not hitting him can I please get an explanation on this nonsense

I'm using maxed out 5* abomination (immortal), maxed out 5* apocalypse, maxed out 5* doctor voodoo, rank 3 max level 6* ronin, and maxed out 5* human torch

Yondu with L1 spam would work, unless I’m missing something-heal block and plenty of bleed, plus the weakness stacks on the specials would make them a lot less scary when he’s spamming them in Wrath

Aa works well. Parry heavy, then block bait heavy and counter with heavy until falter goes or you get enough neuro.

Can confirm Morbius is an excellent option for my fellow scrubs out there. 7* got me the solo first try

Same here, granted mine is R2, but first try sub 1 minute (accidentally got faltered). Next 2 around 40 seconds, just 1 sp1 1sp2 and lights out sassypants.

Overseer isn't the best counter on paper, but he works really well.

    He's who I used all 3 runs.

If you have Zemo, he works really well.

Was a brutal boss without right counter. But there are a ton of good ones.

Oof I remember the old days of struggling with only 5*s, now with 7* R2s every EQ boss is like an arena fight lol

For my alt I might need to bring a 4* AA. The regen is brutal and if you can't slow him constantly it's impossible

Scorp with toad didn't work because the slow is too short.

Morbius, or any champs that give bleeds..don't parry or use SP1.. intercept is your best friend

I killed him with Zemo. I have 3/3 despair that prevent him for healing.. it was very easy with Zemo..

If the game worked bug free lots of decent advice. However the game runs buggy and let's face it they are stacking too many abilities on the nodes. Regeneration from energy attacks, a cycling unblockable, falter if you block too much and finally regeneration that stacks if sasquatch is not hit. This eq has made me reconsider whether to even bother playing this game anymore. Lazy fight designs and the thinking that casual players have the roster depth to deal with the nonsense. Oh and I tried some of the recommendations with what characters I have that were recommended and no dice. SAS is too defensive to eliminate his regeneration. What good is preventing his Unstoppable if he go's turtle and heals up both by regeneration and waits out his bleed?

Morbius is a good counter if he turtles up.

If one rough fight is making you consider quitting, you're either overly sensitive, lack any perseverance, or you do not actually enjoy the game in the first place.

You have a month to get this wrapped up. Take some time, gather more advice, and practice the fight a little, and I am sure you'll make it through. In other words, git gud. And I say this as someone who has yet to get him below 90% health after a few tries. I need to git gud too.

OK Juggernaut worked surprisingly well. Took him down to 25% with Juggs and finished him off with Scorpion.
