so one last goodbye

Hey everyone, i just got to paragon recently. I was grinding like crazy to get to paragon from tb. I am a free to play player and was only grinding arenas for units. With new 8.3 everyone seems to be enjoying while i am still grinding on 8.2 here comes another everest content necropolis. While i wont say i am a top player i consider myself a good one with only one path remaining on abyss. The new everest content gives me another reason to just grind and grind. While i know it is not compulsory to complete or explore necro it just gives me kind of an irritated feeling that i need grind away to develop my roster to participate in bgs, war etc.. As a ftp all i am doing all the time is grind and i cannot be laid back and do other content like the abyss path that is remaining. This month i had to grind bg and story quest, monthly quest, to get to paragon. Now that i am here the level of my roster is not fitting of a paragon and so to develop it i need to other contents but it feels very tiresome. And also dont go in the comments saying "its your choice you dont have to grind you can be laid back and play freely". Things dont work like that. Many of you including me will be competitive in comparing with ally mates or friends and i am not comparing myself to whales bc i know the difference is too high. So yeah i am competeitve and want catch up to not the top players but atleast among my peers. And also the amount for the offers in my region is not that much reasonable for me to become a spender too.

Let me explain since this is kinda going to be my last post. The offers in my regoin (INDIA) are not reasonable. The odins vault is priced at Rs.10000. And also 1$ is Rs.80. So considering india has a more number of gamers and is also a developing country in gaming industry the prices should be adjusted greatly. Let me give you an example but do not get offended that i am taking about other games but please take it as constructive. Many of you may know about the game FF. It became a hot topic in india and was vastly played in india during quarantine not only played but also spent more majorly. It was because the offers in that game was so low that normal players and even children around 14 yrs of age can spend after saving money for a time. But that is not possible here because even if i save money the cheapest offer here is 500rs and that one does not offer much. But if i go to that game for the same amount i can get more diamonds which is used in that game. So if the price is made reasonable u can see huge influx of spenders and whales from india. If odins vault was priced at 2000rs maybe i can even become a spender. I am not saying people are not spending right now but u can see more spenders if the price was made reasonable.

So back to the grinding i am just tired of grinding and going to stop this game for good. So if anyone wants to throw toxicity here please feel free to do so i dont care for a hair. But i hope players can see this post in a good way and can drop your thoughts about ftp and grinding.

SO GOOD LUCK FOR THOSE GRINDING AT NECRO AND HOPE YOU CAN ENJOY WHILE GRINDING.

    1) I definitely understand that feeling of trying to keep up with the game, and feeling burnt out as a result of relentless grinding. I think we have all experienced that. Don't take this the wrong way, but that is not a healthy way of playing this game. Try taking it at your own pace, not someone else's. Take breaks. It is a game, you want to enjoy it and not think of it as a job. I see that you compete with friends/ alliance mates, but there is no way to make big leaps in this game instantly. It's a slow burn. Sure, you can complete 8.2 and 8.3, but they will only give you a few rank ups. You just got to paragon, so you will start seeing your roster grow faster for sure. However, it is NOT going to be overnight. Might take you a few months, but you will definitely catch up, trust me. Doing the monthly sq, eq, paragauntlet will definitely help build your roster. You don't NEED to do everything. You got paragon, that's the big thing. You now get better rewards, better offers, etc. Don't sweat it. Don't think about necropolis, forget about that for now. It's mostly youtubers and the top 1% crowd going for it upon release. Even them, they'd need resources saved up and a ton of units. Don't feel bad about necropolis, just keep up progressing through 8.2 and 8.3. No need to rush it.

    2) About the pricing, from google exchange rates, it seems Rs.10000 is around $120. Which is $20 more than the actual USD price. I don't really know why that is the case, but what I do know is the fact that the odin's price will not be reduced below $100. That is just the way the game is priced, and the way it has been priced for years. That will not change. There is nothing that can be done about that.

    3) Best suggestion from me is that you cool it down. Stop playing if you feel tired at any point. Take a break if you need to, whether that break is a few hours or a few days or weeks idk. That is up to you to decide, none of us can speak for you. That is all I can say.

I think you have to find what makes you happy in this game and grind that. Then just play everything else casually. I've played this game from almost the beginning and I don't think I have ever been the new progression title day 1. While I'm not ftp and definitely have a very healthy size Paragon account I don't care for everest content. So I'll be waiting for other ways to get the new progression. I enjoy bgs and story so I joined an Ally that focuses on that with optional aw and aq so no stress. Gotta play cause you e joy to not cause you feel you have too.

I wonder if my technique of interpreting an overly long post by looking only at the comments has something to do with the yoneda philosophy

well thank you all for sharing things but this grind thing has become tiresome and i dont have that much time to play the game that is why i feel like all i have been doing is grinding and also dont consider this just me saying reasons. Everyone has their own circumstances and the time i have to improve my skills is also low. I will think about considering this time a break if i have a mindset to comeback i will be. And also considering the price thing i dont know about the income or spend pattern in your region but in india 10000rs is an amount earned by most people per month. But that amount just barely covers monthly expenses. So if i consider this not many middle class gamers or even some youtubers in india will not spend. Lets say you buy ten odins vault to purchase cyberweek offers that will add up to 1000 dollars but in india 1lakh is much much bigger in value even high class gamers will probably wont spend in the game. Lets not change this post to an argument and continue sharing info and feedbacks. So as i have mentioned above not many gamers will spend their monthly income in just one go for only this much rewards. So i think i have mentioned my side of pattern for this spending, so if anyone could explain about income or spend pattern in their region it will be good. And again thank you all for sharing your feedbacks and dont share toxicity. It is much appreciated.

Honestly, sounds like you have an issue -- you need a break. Good luck.
