Finally made it to the GC!

Hadn’t played battlegrounds that much in about two months, and the first time I tried I was still a pretty new Thronebreaker, so I didn’t get past Diamond 1. In the time since then I’ve become paragon and my account has grown quite a bit; so I decided to play BGs again with the goal of getting into vibranium. I honestly didn’t think it was possible to make it to the GC, and I didn’t even think I had a hope of getting that 7* Guilly piece, but after making it to Vibranium I started thinking “I can really do this”. Vibranium 3 was not too bad and Vibranium 2 was a little more challenging but I still didn’t spend too much time there, but Vibranium 1 was the real challenge. Most of the accounts were a lot bigger than mine, and I spent a couple of days in there honestly😅. I’d win 3 matches, then lose 2, win 2 then lose 2. Most days I’d end where I started with no progress. It was only until yesterday that I was able to get the string of wins needed to finally make it. Then I played my first match in the GC and got absolutely demolished, so I’ve still got quite a bit to go, but happy with how far I’ve come! (The first pic is the fight that put me into the GC).

    Congratulations! Now you can also enjoy seeding next season to not have to climb as many tiers

    @ShtickRick take note of the above post. You don't have to win, but technically speaking you do not get GC rewards unless you Participate in GC, and participation requires you do at least one match. Do the match, don't forfeit, just play it out to be safe.

    Don't give up. There was a season I was trapped in V2 for over sixty matches, and then right in the last two days it suddenly got easier, as if all the strong accounts left in V2 decided to get their **** together and get into GC before it was too late.

    The difficulty curve changes over time, sometimes in dramatic fashion at the end of the season. It can still happen.

    congratulations we love to see it! I was right along with ya. Before this the highest i ever got was Plat I and now im Uru II

    Was just rereading this and I meant to say I got* destroyed, I got crushed lol
