HELP! Wolverine in Necropolis

aaramadiaaramadi Member Posts: 8
Hello! Recently I got thinking about Wolverine, and how he would potentially perform in Necropolis. The more I thought about it, the more I started questioning why I haven't even heard this being discussed. With deep wounds, the apoc synergy, and perhaps even the 6* relic, wouldn't he be an absolute demon?

I personally have no way of testing this myself as I am lacking apoc, which is why I am making this post. If there is anyone out there with all these pieces, would you be willing to try this out?

I do have the relic as well as the man himself, so pursuing this in the near future isn't impossible. Before that, I would just want to know if it's even worth going after deep wounds and apoc, or if I'd be wasting my time.

I am sure there are worst champs... but... I think you are too used to looking at incursion runs or other content where you get all sorts of other boosts. Without that... yes, he heals, and he's they bleed a bit (well some of the champs do anyway)... but its a far cry from the 20-30K per hit Aegon can do (double that when you get furies from taking a hit), with L2 bleeds bigger than Wolverine bleeds.

Also, DOT isn't really the way to go after the boss at the end... so you still need something there.

That said... its just a couple energy to walk up to one of the opponents and try it out.

Well I have to remind myself once a month that incursions even exists, so I really don't think that is the case. Other than that, I'm not disagreeing with you. Naturally he wouldn't be a good option for gm or bleed-immune champs.

What I'm interested in is his potential when putting all of the pieces (relic, masteries, apoc) together. Which again I cannot try as I'm missing some vital stuff, as well as not having him ranked up. Intuitively speaking based off of the gameplay I've seen, his damage can get really wild. Besides his rotation also being as simple as it gets, he doesn't require nearly as much buildup as Aegon.

Not that I'll try it, but if you can make room for Prof X (which would be good for the GM), that'd be even better

You would need Apoc to knock out a fight with Cable as ride along synergy to get Wolverine as a Horseman. So that’s 3 of your champ spots, plus a reverse controls immune champ (Prof X) for GM Phase 4. DoT is a big of deal if you’re someone like Shuri, Zemo or Kate who can keep the damage up infinitely. Can Wolverine can do that to the same extent?

I tend to think you will be disappointed with that team, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Or you could just bring Sinister instead of Cable and that gets you the ramp up AND a reverse control immune champ. It's like I was made for this team.
Ahha…everyone forgets Nathaniel Essex. You’re correct! Please send me your videos when you do it!!😉

I’m thinking the Agent Venom synergy team + would be like the Horseman Wolverine synergy team + and I’d love to be proven wrong also.

Had time to think and imma be real he wont be good for necro due to odin lane wolvie cant do odin as u cant give him buffs he cant do jubilee as u have to use the right firework attack to not give power he cant do titania as the trap is if u parry ur debuffs have a chance to fail and he has nothing for evade, but reason he wont be a good option for any is u need to use specials to pause the timer which means wolvie loses regen.
