GBC offer clarification

I just wanted to check that the phrasing "purchase a GBC" to earn 2100 points counts when buying the 10x GBC offer in the unit store?
Meaning if I got the offer, I'd get 21000 points for purchasing them and 7000 points for opening all 10?
I ask because that would just get me the last solo milestone but if the 'purchase' poinrs don't count I won't bother.
