Do greater gifting crystals expire?

There is a timer above the crystals counting down to the end of the gifting event. But the crystals down expire do they?

    Can someone please answer this question? Nobody seems to understand if the crystals themselves expire or just the sale of them. My alliance is in a saving week for SA, but we don’t want to lose our crystals.

    You’ll no longer be able to obtain them after the event, but crystals that you have in your inventory will be fine
