WoW energy is too expensive as is but the issue being ignored is that WoW is not the only game mode

I still think even if it were on its own, WoW is still too energy expensive but we have so much content at the moment that requires so much energy as well.

1)EQ: Thronebreaker:
65 energy per route in 3.2, X5 routes = 325 energy
60 EPR in 3.1, X5 routes = 300 energy
48 EPR in 2.2 x4 routes = 192 energy
48 EPR in 2.1 x4 = 192 E
36 EPR in 1.2 x3 = 108 E
36 EPR in 1.1 x3 = 108 E
Total = 1,225 Energy = 17.5 full refills of energy

2)Daily apothecary (people will be doing this for the necessary revives for WoW as well as for other content)
48 energy to complete (+another 24 energy if you go in a 3rd time and there is a lvl2 revive on the path) = about 1 full refill per day (if done everyday for the 2 weeks of WoW fight = 14 full refills)

3)Lunar New Year - (you would want to do this for the units, and those red envelops that give relevant resources such as gold, loyalty, arena chips etc... and it only lasts one week)
3.2 - 20 EPR x4 = 80 energy
3.1 - 80 E
2.2 - 80 E
2.1 - 80 E
1.2 -57 E
1.1 - 54 E
Total = 431 Energy = 6 energy refills

4)Side-quest
14 EPR x 14 (for these 2 weeks) = 196 E = 2.8 refills

So these categories of 1-4 = about 40 refills total. That translates to 11.6 days if you don't waste or miss a single energy. Yes we have energy refills from summoner advancement and the other alliance events but at MOST that is 6 per week. Getting energy refills from the 4 hour crystals is very rng and you might get 0 for opening 100 crystals.

@Kabam Miike I know you said that if you do 1 full refills worth of energy for 14 days to do WoW you will have 98 attempts. But A)This may still not be enough attempts B)You are asking players to give up on a lot of other content.

This also doesn't even account for...

5)Battlegrounds
Yes we have elders marks but some have more than others and some have less. Energy will be used for this mode, especially for people who are competitive and trying to get to the top or even to the end of Victory Track.

6)Story Content
Some people are still trying to complete this mode especially if they need resources such as 6*/7* shards, units, relic shards, rank up materials etc...

7)Potion farming in RoL
(personally I have done hundreds of winter soldier fights for hundreds of lvl3 potions for necropolis)

8)more questing in lower EQ levels, Cavalier and below.

I hate that I have to say this, but Use dem units!

There has to be a cost to use somehow other than our time. Use them units! All this we can't do everything, but we can. You just gotta use dem units or strategize where you focus your time. Grind arena for a week, that's 270 units for featured & Basic arena. Add the 4* up to milestone 5, that's another 65 units. That's 11 energy refills. 100k battlechips, pop 50 2k arena crystals for units to buy energy refills. Pop your 4 hour crystals, there is energy there. So many ways to get free units to get energy refills and revives.

Skill - Kabame doesn't want you to be able to practice without some higher cost than time. End-game content deserves a higher cost. I wish it was only 1 tile for 5 energy, but here we are.

New Content - You have 30 days to be able to do certain content. Do an exploration and get the deals at the end for 500+ units for pots, revives, and refills.

Grinding Units - Good. Keep grinding, the 4th offers are just that offers. You either keep on grinding or save time and put some $ in the game for them. Units are not just for them.

Disagree all you want, but you gotta make the time or adjust your expectations of what you can and cannot do in this game. Some have a hard problem with that, but it's gonna be ok.

To the people disagreeing to this, I hope your alliance loses the next war because you died to the same opponent twice due to dropped inputs.

Jokes aside I agree that the energy cost is absolutely tone deaf

Yep agree energy cost is ridiculous!!!!

I would have had no issues if it wasn't for WoW. I had many Refills. Now I have 2 left, none of the EQ done I need, and he's still not down. Needless to say I'm done spending refills trying.

That's brutal man. I feel for you.
    The fight is absolutely ridiculous.

Got 2 objectives down but had to use every single refill I had, now I’m at 0. OP makes a great point about the other game modes on top of the ridiculous energy cost.

Imo theres 2 ways this should be ,

Keep the current difficulty but lower the energy cost

Keep the energy cost but lower the difficulty substantially. It can still be hard without being brokenly overtuned.

units are for account changing offers, not for day to day stuff.

Awful. Reaffirms my decision to not even try.

I think this fight would be so much better if it weren't for brute force. The AI is also so bad sometimes. A few things could happen.
    1) Abs doesn't throw any specials when at 99% power and you die from degen
2)Abs throws so many sp1s in a row and now you take insane block damage and he regens
3)Abs doesn't throw any specials until he gets to sp3
4)Abs only throws sp2 and now you are dealt lots of incinerate damage and he regens
5)Abs only throws his specials during unstoppable so you can't deactivate his modes

at least if brute force was taken off you can wait for the next opportunity but because it is there you can't wait and that often puts you in a worse situation

I haven't had the energy problems other players are complaining about. So far I have only had to use my overflow energy (but I am 'behind' where I normally would be in EQ).

That said, I do think the amount of damage we take in WoW is out of wack. I wouldn't mind a 10 energy cost if I didn't get KO'd with one hit. Instead of being able to try a few different strategies/mistakes for the cost of 10 energy, it instead is 10 energy per mistake.

And mistakes definitely add up to a lot, with the AI's variable behavior and the different timers that need to be managed..
