Bishop if you care about battlegrounds.

    Apoc has become like proxima

A champ with great potential, but there's no content anymore that requires him.

If he gets the serpent treatment then he may become good for battlegrounds. Maybe start with 3 persistent charges instead of one.

Regarding bishop, I always find him inconsistent. Sometimes he deal unimaginable amounts of damage with a sp2, nd nukes the fight, and other times his damage is ****. But for bgs he is a great dual threat with few counters in defense, and can take almost any skill champ in a sp2 at 90% health (except maybe attuma)

    Highly disagree.
Apoc has his uses still, he is just suffering from the 6r5 vs 7* issues.
He makes other mutants even more powerful. He still has massive burst potential, try out a 6r5 ascended.
The only thing is he is not very good in BGs because of how his charges work, which is fine.

Yeah he is good still, but it would be even better if they make him better for bgs.

yeah that would be a big win.

To the OPs question, Bishop right now is quite good because he is a 7*. He is also a very good champ, but i dont think this discussion would exist if apoc was a a7*
(I actually have an r3 7* bishop on my alt, he is a blast to play)

Like everyone said, being a 7 star really helps Bishops case and with BG one of the main focus for these days, a 7 star Bishop is more useful right now.

Bishop mainly because he’s a 7* if Apoc was a 7* I think he’d be better for most content besides BG. Don’t get me wrong I love bishop, he was my first R3 7* and he is a monster. But Apoc just has so much utility and makes so many other mutants amazing. If he was a 7* it would be a tougher discussion.

For which aspect of the game?

Bishop for Battlegrounds, Apoc for everything else, including questing,
    everest content, alliance war, etc.

However I find Bishop more relevant these days because he can counter newer Skill champs like Chee’ilth who has cleanse, which Apoc cannot counter

At least Apoc is a decent defender in Battlegrounds because of his tankiness and specials. But he’s still very good for everything else except for Battlegrounds attack

Apoc was my first R5. Bishop was my first mutant 7R2.

Apoc can be an okay defender. But he has many more counters than Bishop does.

Bishop is a far better BG champ, on both sides.

But I take Apoc with me on any mutant quest. I usually take Bishop now also. But Apoc is definitely more of a quest staple.
