Weird bug in game on Android

On Android while trying starting a fight (before I can click fight) the game screen changes to "Updating" as shown in the screenshot. I have two alt accounts I play on my Android device and both accounts freeze with the same screen. I don't see this problem on my iPhone. My Android is an Android 12 device. This problem started yesterday and was only affecting one of my alt accounts. Now affects both. I'm now unable to play at all. Is there a bug that's affecting the game on older Android devices?
I have restarted the game multiple times and even reinstalled the game but this problem continues to persist.
I'm hoping this can be resolved soon. I have not been able to work on the poolies milestones. Hoping to not miss out on them on my alt accounts.
