I think deathless guillotine can work? She has random heals, degen damage (lots of degen hacks) and fixed % damage on sp3 to finish off fights.
But no immunities. And her regen is rng, she don't have buffs for buff cornucopia and other hacks. Her degens can be purified by skill champs. She don't counter evade, autoblock, miss, or unblockable. No way to counter power gain. Not tanky as well.
She can work, but definitely need a support champ who can cover a lot of ground.
I actually always have avoided buff corn always, mystics, prey on the weak and other nodes that punish multiple trigger of buffs. I'm the most anti buff corn player you can find. Been hating on it since forever. Lol
I have done most zone 25 itemless. One time I took buff corn it costed me revives cuz i got hard blocked by a buff punishing node.
What teams and boss hacks do you actually run then? cause most people use buff corn plus the usual Aegon, Herc or Angela team .
As an incursion veteran, doing zone 25 for last 2 years, who only play for rewards and do not care 1 bit about fun. Id suggest to use norseman sig 200 Thing with 2 slots spare for your champion of choosing.
Do explain
Recoils essential. Thing + heimbro Thing works just like he worked for past 5 years since dungeons. It's the same, Most fights are just screen tap spam or heavy spam.
Draining degen hack is most helpful from my experience. It's slower than herc, but a lot safer.
Only saga champs in sector 7 so i think this time it be about healing and survivability since no safe option as no odin pre fights to cap damage no hiemdall
Odin is tactic, so he'll work. Don't worry. Heimdall is for usually herc runs, thing doesn't need it.
I'll try to get draining degen on zone 1. Cuz that is the most important hack for thing run to go faster.
Could you drop me some insight and advice after your run.
I'm sure I will need to a lot of pre before going in.
I got no Serpent, Bulleyes, Kushala, Adam Warlock or Toad.
So far I only have Iceman, Bishop and Thing as consideration.
I don't have any of those champs lol. But I do trust in my thing. Sig 200 unascened. Took him R5 for current GC meta.
He needs recoils active for the run, that is free healing. His protection takes cares of the rest. Have to be careful around skill champs with aar, disorient which can bypass his protection.
I fought a zone 24 midDoom with 200% power gain, I was just heavy spamming with draining degen, and midDoom was constantly throwing specials on things unstoppable. Took 7 minutes but it was not bad at all.

Well I guess it's the old-school (Thing + Strategic movement) strategy for you then. It's actually MUCH EASIER to do now since if you have a relic you can parry to gain the furies and don't have to Dex all the time.

Yeah ive been avoiding buff corn also as everytime i run it the rng for the next 5 zones are always buff punishments its annoying as when u get a run where u can use buff corn its awesome, i think my run i might just go full dot champs so deathless guilly bullseye and i think imma use as the third option will be white tiger but my zone 25s mostly been with heimdall and aegon with odin pre fights but gonna try without pre fights since it should be ok to do without
Lots suggesting Thing. I know he’s a saga champ, but is it that he’s immune to stagger and nullify?
Just so boring to use isn’t he…
Its the fact the 100k attacks barley dent him as u stay at 20 rock stacks and protection always activates so he just survives nothing about his immunities its all about his sig
Since we are talking abt Thing. I have these 2. I do have awakened 6* Thing as well. But i like Void more. Will he be good in some way? I did consider Void in my initial team thinking abt mystics but now we know mystics won't be there for this.

I try to get a debuff hack for regen fights, poisonous truth/draining degen, shock or incin one etc.

Well if you don't get a debuff hack then it's beyond boring. But with right debuffs hacks. He is damn fast. Have some 30 seconds fights with thing in zone 20+.
But what I feel which is not boring, is saving items and uncountable units. I got timed out three times in a fight using him cuz I failed to get a dot hack.
One attempt with herc I got a ultra tricky doom on zone 24. I timed out twice in that fight using herc and only hitting dooms block.
I don't really see something that restrictive to be fun. So we do what we have to do. Saving items and units is priority.

Only ever taken r5a herc and 7*r3 Adam in incursions with all the usual buff hacks etc.
What hacks should I be looking at for making Thing great?
Since we are talking abt Thing. I have these 2. I do have awakened 6* Thing as well. But i like Void more. Will he be good in some way? I did consider Void in my initial team thinking abt mystics but now we know mystics won't be there for this.
I actually think void has great potential provided you can get the right hacks and by that I mean basically all the debuff ones, along with tide of combat, DOT boosts , fury duration and potency plus , the hack that grants you 4% attack for every debuff.
YOU SHOULD REALLY TRY AND SEE HOW THIS GOES AND KEEP US UPDATED

U forgot to add rng to that to even get all that as u might not even get any of those hacks

True but with the additional available hacks and the selector In the first zone it should be slightly more plausible to do
If this is x magica meta stuff, don’t you need to use mutants and mystics for attack?
Its only xmagica champs only in fights and what u can use all will show up i believe on the incursion map it wont be like war where u use mystic or mutant it be all skill cosmic thing void and then mystic mutant champs
My strategy is wait, watch the KT1 stream as he is one of the few high level YouTubers who does incursions and likes to analyse the fights. Then I'll try and replicate then fail miserably. Repeat daily until the end of the event and hope for the best in terms of getting to the highest room I can.

You get to pick any hack you want, at least in zone 1 for sure, if I read the announcement correctly, so there's that.
Since they updated the degen hacks to be passive as well, I'll be loving my Mojo (I think).

Just says there be 2 boss hacks one with the 3 new ones and a normal one so yeah still could be rng on what u get

Will have to see how useful they are as i read them and only one i like is the bulwark one so thankfully i can choose it just on the normal boss hack is where the rng will be determined how ur run is gonna go lucky its 5 mins so we can keep entering till we get the right hacks but just have to wait and see when it becomes active

Thanks for these tips. Will be nice to have full detail of Thing run. Other then hacks what else we need to be aware of ? how should the most fights go and what nodes/champs to avoid.
