Onslaught in battlegrounds...

Why can I never use onslaught in bg? He's in my deck but I never get to pick him. He either gets banned or just never shows up to select. And I mean NEVER. Are we not allowed to select him? Hate that I wasted resources to strengthen a champion I can't even use.

Just how it goes sometimes. I was just messaging my chat the other night with my match that oput me into GC and showing that my 3 bans were "Serpent, Bullseye, Onslaught." That was the case for 90% of my matches from Gold 5 to Vib 1. It probably didn't help my Onslaught and Bullesye are r3, but they'd still ban them even when they themselves had at least 2 of the 3 of those champs, or plenty of counters to all 3.

this is actually new info for me ( tbh im a low lvl player), but still after playing 3 bgs seasons i didnt know tht. So is it like if i ban 3 champs tht i also have and the opponent bans 3 diff champs which were also present in my deck then are there effectively 6 bans?

Just to be sure, you're not banning their onslaught everytime are you? I ask because there was a forum member awhile ago who didn't know that bans go both ways, so banning their champion also bans yours.

You're not alone, It took me a long time to know this fact, I was just banning opponent doom cuz I find him troublesome to fight (This was previous year before champs like photon or onslaught were introduced) and I thought Opponents were coward as well like me and ban doom, Lol

as i play low level bgs so i usually ban the r6 6* or tough r1 7* which i usually dont have so i never faced much issues with my own decks but thts gud to know for future bans.

Yeah, don't ban champs you have in your deck, Unless it's very necessary

Same for me and a few champs a few months back.
It wasn't until I was watching a YouTube video one day and heard whoever I was watching say "I banned this champ so mine will be gone to" that u decided to do some research and found out that if I banned a champ it counted for both decks.

Maybe they just don't want to deal with his bs or they might have the counters but don't know how to fight him.

I have Photon counters and can fight her if necessary but why suffer through that when I can just ban her?

That doesn't always work though. Here I banned their Dr. Doom, and 7* Captain Marvel, but my Doom and CMM didn't get banned (thankfully CMM didn't get it 😂). This has happened quite a few times with other champs too, and when the clock had reached 0 and the game "auto-selected". Still no dual ban.

No that shouldn't be happening. If you ban opponet's doom or cmm, you don't get to draft them too.

Bullseye, Nick Fury and Onslaught are my current ban on sight list. Bullseye i just haven't gotten used to fighting against and with the meta this season that if a fight doesn't go your way, it really doesn't go your way, he gets instabanned. Onslaught I'll on occasion I'll take on if I'm certain they aren't banning my Omega Sentinel.

As others mentioned, do you have screenshots of any of those 6 Banned champs appearing (on either side) during the pop-up team select process ??

Are you expecting that “ALL 6” of the Banned champs should ALL be showing on BOTH sides panels ?
That's NOT how the game shows banned champs.

Sometimes, if both people pick a same champ to ban, then that champ will appear on both sides, but that's not what's at issue here.

It only shows the 3 banned champs on each side that were selected by the other person to be banned. But all 6 are actually banned from either side being able to have them pop-up during selection.

(*** the only time I’ve seen a bug about this is in an early season of BG, when the unique Summoned Symbiote would get Banned, but would still show up during selection. He's a rather unique case of a champ, of the “Superior Class”, and that was at a time people were sandbagging their Decks with lower champs)

Do you have an SS of that happening?
No. I wasn't thinking about it at the time. I only got this ss because I was "documenting" Chee getting a first time ban.

Banning a champ in your deck means the neither you or the opponent can use that champ, and vice versa
