Sandbagging

Didn't realise it was still a thing. Saw a couple of them today with 1*'s. Report? Or ignore and move on?

Yeah it does not, yet there a few hopeful summoners who still try I guess...

    It achieves nothing.

So if you want to report someone who's deliberately making their own lives more difficult... 🤷‍♂️

I could see including some lower star versions of champs you know you will ban, just to further narrow your deck so you have a higher chance of pulling a character you actually want, but doubt it would be that effective a tactic. Not that huge a difference pulling from 24 vs 27.

So if you know it no longer works (for a long time now), why would you ask if you should report them ?
Maybe friend them, and courteously inform them that it does not work anymore, in case they didn’t know and don’t frequent Forums or other chat groups.

Actually insightful. Providing your opponent actually has those champs on their team, for you to then ban and get removed from your own side as well.
It would in theory further narrow down your own pool to choose your team from afterward, to a slightly higher chances at those you really want to use.

Could also just be a way for someone to not have to deal with thinking about some extra champs that they know they won’t want to use. But if they brought them as higher champs they would be in the middle of the ones they actually want to decide between during team select. So bring them as low ones so you don’t even have to include looking at them.

I know it does not work but I was asking if it's acceptable. To make it clearer, can you get banned for it? To make it even more clear, you can get banned for point farming ....so as of today if somebody is sandbagging, can they get banned? Hence the question, do they need to be reported?
And hence frequenting forums and chat groups...

I don’t think you can get banned from choosing champs from your roster. It is what it is.

You can get ban for point farming but not for putting lower rank champs on your roster. This only hurts your chance at winning. If you use this strategy to farm points, use it only when using energy and switch to a better deck when you use elders marks. They will detect this pattern and you could be ban.
