Hello friends, will new relics be added to the game soon?

    Hopefully they’re not dead. They should release them at a slower pace if they’re scared of not being able to come up with new ones, but relics have boosted a ton of champs and I hope they don’t stop now

    Yeah, I hope there's a future for them as well.

    Reading the tea leaves though, I'm not optimistic.

    The prolonged silence during the pause, coupled with recent staff cuts, and them saying they want to simplify the game, all lead me to believe there's not a future for relics.

    Here's to hoping they prove me wrong.

    I don't think Relics are dead just yet - there's a Reliquary offer live in the unit store at the moment and I don't think they would put the offer out if relics were going away.

    Relics need a rework, but the financials need to support it. Whether we want new relics or the whole concept reworking, if it won't pay.for itself then it won't happen.

    I still hope we get to see 'synergy relics' someday.

    I think development into new ones is dead. The Reliquary offer is trying to make some last ditch bucks off them. Think access to the ones already in the game will always be there, but no new ones. That’s why we’ll still see the nodes.

    However I’m still not opening up any relics at 5* or below. Have them all, there’s no point. Let the relic shards continue to amass!

    I'm fairly certain I've heard it said that offers like that are prepared fairly far in advance. That is to say, they may have had that relic offer prepared at a time when they had a solid plan for relics. That plan may have changed, but it doesn't mean they would alter the sale package.

    And you have suckers like me that like relics, but are very pessimistic about their future, who still bought that bundle cause I really wanted my 6* Black Widow relic for Black Cat.

    Sadly this feels like the case. After July 4 I think we are going to see a STEEP decline in spending on this game. This being one of the many reasons. Net marble is killing a phenominal opportunity and hopefully will lose the corresponding clientele for the remainder of the company's existence. Unless they plan on pulling a huge 180 on us it's not looking good.

    Dropping this here for everyone again. We won't be seeing any for awhile. If they started working on them today I'd expect to see them in 4-6 months at the earliest

    I don't believe they're putting the nail in the relic coffin...yet. I think that they're trying to work things out internally.

    They can't end the relics because so many of us have already invested a ton of money and resources into them.
