Yeah, just getting to Valiant changes the rewards you get from then on so immensely that it's basically worth getting there no matter what.

That said, it also depends on your situation. If you're close to opening a new 7* crystal of some sort, it might be worth waiting.

If the great anniversary stuff is progress gated, then I might think differently. If there were a July 4 or BF/CM just around the corner, I might also change my mind.

This might be controversial but black panther is miles better than antman and vtd. He is definitely atleast two tiers above them. Will I r3 him? Hell no. But if I'm forced to r3 him, he ain't gonna collect dust. True strike just by intercepting. Intercept 5 times, build to sp2, launch a heavy, intercept with sp2, Most matches will be done by the time.

He is definitely a underrated champ.

Offensively alone, in skill class, he is better than attuma, sable, blade, killmonger, korg, hawkeye, ronin, moondragon and maybe bullseye

No to VTD. Yes to Black Panther and maybe to Antman.

Black Panther is underrated because other bleeders so it better but as they arent 7*s yet, he is a solid choice to r3.

Antman is iffy. I dont understand how to play him on attack yet but he is a complete stall defender for BGs.

VTD does literally nothing worthy of being r2 l, forget r3

And Bullseye is tactics attacker this season and he's taking down fights in one sp2 (check lagacy war videos) and also war boss

You're right. But what if someone don't have moleman bullseye cb cheelith or cat? And have to rank up somebody for valiant. In that case , black panther is definitely a solid rankup imo.

Your not wrong that there would be better options, but i love my og panther. I awakened him so i can get defensive ability shutdown, he is easy to use. Can stack a lot of bleeds and has great synergies with other champs i use (herc, storm, ironheart, kilmonger)

Also his damage is great.

U wouldnt be able to do moleman anyway as he was omega days and black cat is loyalty which u would of had to get lucky so both options are lower than the other options

Yeah he's actually underrated can't believe I slept on him. Btw his true strike is not in his base kit, that was a mistake in my previous comment, apparently it's from Killmonger synergy. Since I always use both of them together, I never knew he got this ability from synergy. Nevertheless he is quite decent imo.

Just because someone else jumped off a bridge doesn't mean you should too. But even then, black panther is a significantly better attacker and antman is a decent stall for bgs, especially in the current meta. Probably wouldn't consider antman myself but there is at least a use for him, whereas venom the duck is completely useless.

I don't really remember if it makes you get new 7* much faster or if it unlocks any new content (like maybe more objectives in painful things). If it does, probably yes. But personally I explored necropolis to get the title and I had maestro as an option anyway. And iirc, completion gives you a class crystal, so I'd try that first
