Expiring Reunion crystals

I’ve hoarded up over 30 reunion crystals. If i don’t open then before the timer runs out, do they disappear? Or is the timer just mean u cant get any new ones?

    When they had a similar event last year, they disappeared, so stop hoarding and start opening

    Gotcha, I wanted to wait til cavalier for better stuff cuz I’m like 2 quests away but I’d rather get something than nothing lol. I’m in class today so I can’t grind out quickly either.

    Those crystals had text that said "these crystals are unstable and can only be opened by x date". We're supposed to get compensation after these crystals disappear (in our stash). They won't go anywhere.

    Yeh hoarding makes zero sense, I opened 3 at once and game bugged out from selectors never mind 30 😂

    Plus, they give resources and rank up mats, there couldn't a full r2 or r3 sat there why wouldn't you open them up so you know what options you have?

    (excuse the multiple re-posting, there were so many threads all asking the same questions)
    (and no, not an official announcement, just what I see here tonight in game crystals)

    Any Reunion crystals you had not opened yet, are STILL THERE.
    (Although their Position in the Crystals Tab appears to have been shifted down lower, not next to your normal Daily or 4-hour crystals like they had been).

    And (part of the original issues compensation), you’ll probably see additional “Reunion Double-Up” crystals in there too. (I got 3, as a “non-purchaser”, but they were NOT in any Mail Msg or Stash, just re-appeared in Crystals Tab directly).
    From originally when Double-Up's were given out, and some ppl had opened them, but those that didn’t open them had them taken away.
    For those people, they were given back the ones they had initially (without buying) been given but had not yet opened before Kabam corrected the bug and took them away.

    *not sure if “purchasers” have also been credited with additional “Double-Up” Crystals yet or not.
    But for those asking “when is it coming”, don’t expect them to arrive thru an actual Game Mail. They may just show up in your Crystals Tab.
    Which also means some people who have since gone in and opened up all of their remaining Double-Up ones, may not even realize that they have been credited with these Compensation extra ones when they just opened them all.
