Just my opinion on long awaited story content. 9.1 is pale in comparison to act 8. I’d prefer each act 8 chapter over 9.1. Scourge isn’t a very good node, weapon nodes were more creative. Orochi is by far the worst Ouroboros boss out of the bunch. Hope it gets better..

    Scourge nodes are annoying and requires you to spend some revives here and there but atleast but it's not really so much considering the rewards

    It's harder than act 8 but I think it's good,
    Orochi reminds me of Cerastes in that she's really simple and easy if you have a good counter, and that you don't really use a key abillity against them (with Orochi it kinda exists but still I didn't feel that, especially with how you can completely ignore it if you have enough dmg) Cerastes was the one who actually designed her so my head cannon is that's why they're so similar in that sense of how easy and simple they r.
    Yeah, she's definitely the easiest so far, it's weird how so much bosses in 9.1 are harder than her.

    And plot wise, I have the same issue with it as I had with all of act 8... all talking about Ouroborus, then the bad guy shows up last minute, dies and thats it. I'd like to see more of the corrupted champs in the story, and actual things on the Ouroborus side.

    Animation team doesn't fail, and the rewards are good. I don't mind a refreshing breath of a start to a chapter.
    Remember, she's a chapter 1 boss.
    If she was a chapter 4 boss, I'd agree she was too easy.

    Definitely wouldn't argue against the animations. She looks good, she has good movement. It is the fight that is the issue. The fight barely changes through each phase, almost to the point that the phase changes are practically unnoticeable until you get to phase 6. Yes, she adds whatever the wall effect is part way through, but that really adds little more to the fight for the attacker than an increased chance to dance in the corner if you don't just heavy punish the special.
    Scytalis was a chapter 1 boss, but the attacker had to make changes throughout the fight to deal damage.
    I don't mind the Orochi fight, it was just boring.
    I'm definitely not here to complain about the rewards.
