  He is criminally underrated. Have prowess control which is still rare. His prefights are great

  Sorry you're disappointed.
  
  It really could have been worse - War Machine is a bit dull, but he's got uses.
  
  He was actually my first 7* pull ever. And he was genuinely useful in places like the Shooting Stars quest, and the 7 for 7 challenge.
  
  His prefight abilities are really useful, he's got 'can't be Evaded' Specials, Prowess removal, Power Suppression, and surprisingly good damage if the opponent can be armour broken.
  
  I'm not going to overstate this; because he's not great.
  
  But it wasn't Venom the Duck, so that's always something.

  Yes those prefights are indeed useful. Cleanse, extended debuff duration and attack rating, plus energy resistance are always helpful
