Duplicate champ not registering as duplicate

I opened a 6* shard crystal today, pulled a CGR.
Thing is, I already have a 6* CGR, but the game did not recognize it as a duplicate, so no gold, no iso, and my CGR is still unawakened.
The character shows up in the Alliance feed, but other than that, nothing.
