Photon is broken

Just putting it out there that photon is broken. I just took on a 6* rank 2 photon in AW and she beat both my 6*rank 3 Ultron and 6* rank 4 Rintrah in 5 hits each followed by her special 1. It was a little unreal to experience that. I don’t want to assume some BS was happening but that’s absurd.

Skill issue? And you use rintrah?

Yeah, Rintrah is pretty freaking amazing. Pound the defender into the wall, get rooted, launch the SP2 and voila. No more defender (most of the time). As for the skill question, that is valid, I don’t fight photon too often, but to be destroyed so quickly was shocking to say the least.

    Common DLL champ experience.

Photon is made to counter Rintrah so that's a bad choice. Rintrah can't gain mystic charges against Photon so you can't corner her and root Photon. Photon is immune to bleed so Ultron isn't as effective. Depending on the nodes and where Photon is placed, she can hit very hard.

I don't like to say it because I am afflicted also but in this case...

    ...skill issue.

Ultron and Rintrah are not good options for Photon

Your first mistake was to use a mystic champ against a science champ pal in that matchup your the one in a disadvantage not to mention you probably got hammered by her because she was in her pure light form which makes her very dangerous especially making her specials unblockable & undexible so it was no doubt you got beaten even just by a 6* rank 2 which is obviously easy to defeat in the first place.

She is a really decent defender. But I think you chose poor Attackers, I'm afraid.

As mentioned above, Rintrah is rubbish against Photon - when Awakened she's immune to Neutralise, which basically all his abilities build off; so almost his abilities will fail against her.

Ultron is a pretty terrible choice too, I'm afraid, he's Awakened:
    • All her attacks are Energy
    • Ultron regenerates from Energy attacks. Which would be a good thing, except...
    • Any time Photon inflicts a debuff (which is on most of her attacks), she also inflicts a Petrify passive. Add in Despair mastery, and she'll continually invert his regeneration for extra damage.
    • Also, she's immune to Bleed, which means Ultron doesn't get any DoT and can't use Cauterize to increase his attack.

Thanks so much for the feedback on attacker choice. I clearly screwed up there. Reading all the responses though it makes me think even more that she is broken.

I wish I had more than just a 5* version of her.
