Looking to go for Valiant. Any help is appreciated.

I’m looking to start act 8 and make my push for valiant. I know i have a decent roster and i tend to wait for title progression until i feel absolutely confident. I took a few months off the game earlier in the year so I’m not exactly at my best skill wise. Any advice on rank ups or the act 8 push in general? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you both. Shadow i definitely struggle with confidence because i don’t want to start and get my hopes up and then fail. I know that’s not the right way to go about it especially with a game. But i can’t help it lol. I appreciate the feedback a lot. Thank you.

Right off the bat, take Che Goat to R2. She is one of the best counters for 8.2 boss and will help you immensely with quite a few other fights as well.

    1- MAX OUT HERCULES IMMEDIATELY!!!

2- Why haven't you maxed him out yet?

3- Check out MCOC NOOB guide before & during the fights.

4- In my personal experience as a meh player, Bahamet & Glykhan were the hardest. I think KP is the best for Baha & OG storm for Glykhan, but don't rank them up based on my advice only. Check out YouTube & fight them with what you have first. If it doesn't work, then try my solution.

5- Red Magneto (unascended R4 is more than enough) will be very helpful for certain nods, entire paths & many metallic bosses including Orochi ;).

6- Human Torch, Silk, Kate Bishop & AA are frequently recommended champs for high-end content & they are top picks for everyday use, so rank them up when convenient.

    7- Best of luck.

I become valiant last week just exploring act 8 and competing act 9.1 with some paths more for the alpha 4, exploring the act 8 is really boring but easy way to get a r3 gem, 8.3 and 8.4 gives very good rewards 8.1 and 8.2 do not. Start with 8.3 or 8.4, to get more resourses to rank up champs, after that will be easier to explore the rest.

Plus one on this. Bahamet is probably the trickiest fight in act 8, and Chee will do really well. Don’t know for sure, but I imagine B-train is tagged gamma, so she should get that juicy attack bonus. Otherwise, you should be fine. 8 and 9 are really about having a range of solid champs across classes and RNG profiles. Six star r3/r4s or seven star r1s will do fine. Boost up.
