What the ACTUAL F**** is wrong with the AI in Gladiator's Circuit??

No seriously I'm not one to just complain about random stuff unless it's getting wayy too out of hand.
The AI in GC is One of the worst ai behaviours I have seen, it doesn't dash forward it Just FUDGIN walks towards you, doesn't play into intercepts, goes passive, dashes backs into the corner and keeps blocking repeatedly. This would have been hectic in a normal meta but it's even more so in the current one where intercepting is absolutely necessary. I have had multiple matches that are just me trying intercept the opponent and they just stand there blocking for a FULL MINUTE. 40-50 seconds of the ai doing nothing but dashing back and blocking. Someone tell me again why the actual fudge they can't just put an aggresive node in metas like this?

It’s always the tough defenders that won’t do anything. I’m stood around waiting for bullseye or sassy to make a move but no they light intercept me

2 things can be true. This historically is a widely celebrated meta. Current AI issues have probably scarred this meta from ever being celebrated again after this… and this for a whole month… between this and the structure of the realm event BGs is getting repetitively kicked in the go-nads as its anniversary present.

Gotta wonder if it called one of the in-laws fat or something and this is the design version of being told to sleep on the couch.

From my recent impression, it's overall much worse than before. Slow reactions via inputs, dexing, and intercepts make it unbelievably frustrating.

AI has not improved for me, has not changed in any way I can perceive. Still sidestepping me like they’re Sugar Ray Leonard. Light intercepts, parries all over the place, dexing out of strikers (like literally triggering their dexterity mastery).

Would love to know who the “highly engaged players” were that told Kabam their changes were an improvement.

Backdraft parries are suddenly an issue for me. I don’t think that’s much of a fix.

The AI is just as passive as ever, baiting you into making mistakes.

The only exception is if you’re facing Maw. He’s not passive at all. Dude just charges at you so it’s almost impossible NOT to get the guaranteed crits.

Yeh, passive af, holding block, dashback as soon as you dash in and then parry, seems to like L,M,L,L,M combos, REFUSING to dash in after you hit block for the light intercept.

Kabam have **** the AI, claimed to 'fix' it but just managed to keep it the exact same apart from it can now dashback parry.

Well and truly ruined this Season of BG 👌

Lol Void threw an sp2 without reaching it. It was just a sliver away but i didn't see the bar turn colour, it instantly launched it. Skipping the frame. This isn't the only time. I don't want to be disrespectful but you guys are treating this issue too lightly. God forbid if it was opposite and the AI was too slow, u would have fixed it in the matter of days. This just shows bad faith.

AI won't dash, just walk at you like braindead, if you try to light attack it will parry, if you try to medium it will intercept with light or sidestep
If you try to dash back it will continue to WALK

Based on the stutter back-dash light speed cancel into a parry it does now, I’m convinced it’s gained the ability to back walk too, something we simply aren’t allowed to do. Because back walking is the only explanation for its ability to move backwards and parry at the same time.

Before this season, I thought the AI PARRYING MY HEAVY ATTACKS was impossible. I was wrong. Also, the light intercepted are ridiculous, I'm getting treated like the defender in Battlegrounds.

I just fought a warlock and it kept dashing back and spamming block like it was an attacker doing a coward node, seriously dumb, they use specials even when they’re still under a stun or relic passive stun, holding block to bait heavy or prevent them using specials doesn’t work anymore, infuriate and intimidate do nothing… everything we use as players to goad the ai into corporate now goes out the window it’s absurd

Not just in GC, I’m in vibranium I and if you get a r5 onslaught good luck. Dude just throws his specials in my block, holds block, and then does this weird thing where I’m mid intercept and looks like a glitch and medium intercepts me

We as players, when we let go of block, there is a delay before walking forward. To move forward before this, a player has to dash forward. Obviously, we cannot block once we dash.

AI just lets go of block and prances on down the road? Can block, retreat, or dash?

How the AI can now do this in all game modes is utterly scandalous.
