Raids/Invisible Woman return next week... Give us your counter.

Firstly, I haven't heard anywhere that the Invisible Woman fight will be changed despite it being a pain point last month. Like many others myself and my ally managed to explore the map, I'm sure we can get through the same fight again if needs be, that being said I know she stood a lot of people up, so...

1) Do we think the numbers for IW will be changed?
2) Which champions and node choices worked for your alliance in each role? Please note something that is proven to work, feel free to link a video too.

Personally in Tactician, I took R2 Adam Warlock, Unparalleled buffs, played through the SP3 for a big fury, then went hard at her. I managed to hit damage cap very reliably.

Iron Man ripped through her last time. I hit the damage cap even without full role charges.

How did you play him/which specials did you use? I've only recently played him in his reworked form and I know he goes crazy for a short time after his SP3 but I don't know if any other rotations.

If they leave her as is it will definitely go better than it did last round because we all learned a lot. She's doable, she just requires a ridiculous amount of extra damage compared to the other fights.
If they at least got rid of her dupe I think that would help. Would leave less room for players to mistakenly add to her shield early on.

This is the better question 😂

Yeah you make a very good point, it's doable but on a different plane to the other fights in the same quest, I think that's the sticking point.

OG Iron Man takes her apart. Run the armor up buff, then it’s just sp2, sp1s, repeat. I hit the damage cap every time even without full charges…

My path mate hit cap with Angela pretty consistently.

Does OG IM need to be awaken? I just pulled the 7 star but have a 6 star dupe. Not sure if which one will work better.

Is og ironman r2 sig20 better
Or should superior r6 sig200 be better?

Haven't used sim but I used OG ironman r2unduped. He did every fight in 90 secs and annihilated prof x. I believe he is better since you gotta block a lot against prowler if you take mdidle path like me, and he is very tanky.

My counter is a hard pass.

Whenever they bring back a map where more counters can be used I'll do Raids again.

Were the invisible woman changes actually tested this time? You can't tell me last time you guys tested many different options for that fight and decided that it was ok. Like I used hyperion with unparalled buffs and it was impossible to even come close to the damage cap with him

Luke Cage cooked her, pretty much every run hitting damage cap.

Can’t remember what it was called, but I think it was the one that applied a weakness when you punished specials or heavies. Luke gains additional attack for every debuff on the opponent as part of his base kit, so it synergizes well. Just cycle sp2s for maximum concussion effectiveness, you can cause the force field to fail to reapply with a little luck. My LC is r2, for the record.

I brought Iron Man this time and it seems just as bad as it was with silk last time and I have 15 charges. Fought 3 times and haven't hit the damage cap 1 time. No I don't suck, been successfully clearing raids since day 1 and cleared raids last time even with the problem with her. I don't think they nerved her at all or if they did they didn't fix the fight

I found OG Iron man to be awesome for her. Mine is an R3, but this is the rotation I used for her the last two raids with the crit armor buff. Basically, parry and back off at the start cause if you hit into her miss while the shield is active she gains 10% shield. Then parry, M-M to build armors. Try to bait the sp1 to parry the hit to pause armors. When I got to 10-11 armors throw sp2 to start arc reactor. Then go ham. Almost always had the vigilance up due to all the armors so miss didn't matter. A couple of sp1 for armor breaks and I was hitting for a million+ on mediums. He then will chew through her shield in a combo and get back to doing damage almost immediately.
I found if you don't try to max out your armors before getting the raid fervor damage drops so hard that you can't ever seem to get the shield down. But doing the fight this way I hit the cap on the first fight and consistently hit the cap within 2 min.

I’m curious about other classes. So vanguard has options but nobody else?

I took right path, and I could comfortably hit the damage cap on IW with my r2 7* Hulkbuster on assault (debilitate boost, don’t remember the name). On one particularly good run I think I hit the cap with a minute to spare. He is of course crushing the other bosses too, although I’m still getting used to the Professor X boss since my raid squad wiped before I reached him last time. Between Hulkbuster and OGIM and SIM I guess these raids are just a Stark house party.
