Confused by an interaction between Stagger and Masochism

I have footage of the full fight, but afaik you need to upload it to post here and that's a lot of work 🙃
But I took what I think is an applicable screen shot of the video footage: Essentially, I have a Stagger up.. I Parry intentionally.. knowing that the Regen Buff from Masochism should be Staggered? But it's not, after he gains the Regen Buff and the Unblockable that comes along as a result.. there's a Stagger call-out.. but I still have no idea what was Staggered.. not salty or anything, was an easy match, but just curious what the interaction/sequence of events was

    Actually.. it was the Regen Buff that was "Staggered" but it was delayed by a second or 2 now that I watch it back.. Stagger is up at the time of Regen Buff activation.. it successfully activates, but then is Staggered after the fact by a second or 2.. afaik Stagger prevents activation to begin with normally?

    Neutralize prevents activation, stagger removes something after it is activated. That means there is time where that buff will be up still with stagger

    Antony venoms stagger takes a significant amount of time before removing the buff. All other champions' staggers remove the buff very fast

    Ah, thank you.. I'm brand new to playing him - this was his grand debut after ranking him
    It felt like nearly 2-3 seconds and it confused me 🙃
    So maybe don't try to use it on Unstoppable Buffs for example? That might not go well:)
