Hi Bros,
Normally I would choose Cyber, but this year might be different, it is 10-Year Anniversary, and Kabam promised it will be a Big Burst (as they analyzed the disappointment rate from last year), and as they show off 10 freaking good Champs as free for This Exclusive Anniversary Festival only!!

    No, its good for you to get your own answer, if you wanted to discuss there are at least another 5 posts to discuss on.
    Also discuss what when we don't even know what the banquet crystals will have this year or what will be offered in CM?..
    Let me give you an example of the discussion you are proposing. I walk up to you and ask you what would you like to have? The mystery gift in the blue box or the mystery gift in the red box?

    Nah, it's up to you to choose, 5 or thousand topics, it's ok, not violate forum's rules anyway. By the way, I didn't see any poll yet, so this poll is a good one for players to take a reference, especially votes from smart, long time players, and their deep explanation.

    I'm currently confused and undecided yet, so I need to have some data and reason, if I know the answer I won't need this.

    Last year and years years before, I always bought Cyber, but this year looks...different, a big different, and I wonder if I should gamble this time with Banquets (maybe this time only) or choose safe way with Cyber, maybe 50/50, I don't know

    Ok, anything at this point is just a guess. It will still be a guess as soon as CM comes out, because they won't release the info on banquet.
    Basically what I am trying to say is that there is no educated guess other than hoping for something.
    Maybe one is great the other not, maybe they are both great, or maybe the are both a flop.
    The other part is, it really depends on where you at at the game, so others opinion really don't matter
    You could be aiming on getting new champs, and the CM deals could be based mostly on rank up mats, or viceversa.
    The only thing I can tell you for sure is, you might get more from banquet since there is a solo and alliance event in it. Problem is the more could be something you are not interested on.

    There are 2 things, cyber is guaranteed rewards, you spend units you know what you'll get. Banquet, besides milestone rewards which we can already get up to the deathless she hulk piece for free anyways, are RNG rewards.

    In both cases you'll have people saying the unit offers in cyber are trash and to save for banquet and then when banquet comes they'll see the RNG of the crystals and say those are trash and to save for J4 next year (I bet you won't be able to guess what they'll say about those offers too).

    If you're spending money, spend it on cyber, you get more rewards that way, and you can save some units for Banquet if you so desire.

    Good idea! Spend some bucks on Cyber and save most of units for Banquet, maybe 70% of units this time.

    I have a steady faith that they can't disappoint us on their big Celebration this year, otherwise, bet that many whales will turn their backs on Banquet later on, it's time to prove that Banquet worth a trust.

    + Last year (2023) milestone is 117,600 points.
    (42 Banquet crystals (Buy&Open),
    2800 points/each buy&open crystal,
    700 points/each open)

    + Kb gave 12 free crystals (8,400points) (129 tickets)
    -> Spend 10,600 units + 1,100 units (free from Solo+Alliance milestones) to reach final 2023 milestone.
    (Thanks to Richtheman for useful info on his youtube channel)

    So maybe spending this much (10,600 units) for Banquet would be nice for acceptable rewards. Surely not reach final milestone since they'll add more milestones every year. The rest units can be spent on Cyber.

    Cyber, because it is ultimately progression based albeit very expensive.

    Banquet is cheaper and more RNG dependent. If you aren't at the mid paragon level or higher then Banquet makes more sense. Otherwise, the RNG is a little too much for me.
