@Average_Desi in general, it's good device. Camera could have been better at that price point when initially released but with ongoing price seems good. Solid battery performance and smooth experience Gaming wise It plays Genshin at 45 Fps at medium settings smoothly and gets warm but no that hot
9/10 imo
Thanks. I'm on the 8t currently. No major issues apart from the occasional software glitch. But the battery is pretty bad , so I'm thinking of upgrading. I'd have gone for the 12 if not for the curved screen
Wait till December as 13 will release and thier is good chance 13r at similar price might release which will be on 8 gen 3.
So first couple of days with 60fps was great. Game was smoother an looked an felt better, but gradually each day after has become worse. Seems to go back to same old feel. An now looks like defenders recover an move even faster. Just shows even more now. The intercepting is ridiculous, getting robbed of clean intercepts constantly. Parry not working alot of times. If the game worked the same way it did the first 2 days it would be great. But it short lived an now its back to the same old bs every match.

I’m definitely noticing a similar trend. Like the AI has to adjust to 60 fps to utilize BS again
I turned it off during my incursion runs. Opening frame, usually you can light attack, get parried or opponent will dash back. Well now there is new option, get smacked in the face. Parry was def not working well and while using hulkling, they were releasing block just before I made contact. Use him often so I have an idea of what used to be safe, now that is questionable.
Animation is smooth but something is off. I never have issues backdraft intercepting and now I’m getting smacked constantly (iPhone 16 pro max and iPad Pro m4), I turned it back to 30fps and everything is normal.
battery drain and overheating a still a problem and prevents long term play. for me 60fps is basically for short term use and screen recording.
are we out of luck here and the only solution is a new phone?
I’m on a iPhone 14 Pro, overheating isn’t a problem for me, battery is, i charge my phone 2 times a day on avg when playing. Which is weird because most phones are capable of 120fps, 60 is a breeze. Most newer phones ( 2022+) naturally are 120fps screens, because of this you may actually be causing your phone more harm, I’m not sure what phone you play on, but it’s like the open app situation on phones, many phones are designed to keep many apps open, which is why when closing them it slows the phone down, when you use a game lower then your basic fps count, it probably uses more energy, try reverting your phone to 60fps in general, this way your phone is working with the game, and your problem may stop from there.
If it doesn’t, it could just be your phone in general, some phones struggle more with 60fps because of model. Make sure your phone is updated as well, that could play a part. Hope this helps.
