Any tips for this fight ? Based on my roster I have no viable counters. Anybody know what I can do/ use ? As you can see I have 3 units, so I really need a solo. Thx

The fight will be easiest with champs that inflict a lot of damaging debuffs (except Bleed). Onslaught, Sasquatch, Shuri, Gorr, Scorpion, or Sunspot would work. Technically, any champ would work since you can inflict Poisons off striker hits and intercepts but its easier and faster having a champ that already inflicts DOT's.

I thought sassy would work well. I tried shuri but she got destroyed as well. Would sunspot work ?

Im surprised by Shuri… is Orochi shock immune? I wonder if you have to not throw SP1s as the shock passives don’t count??

You have to throw sp1s, for some reason I could not get one shock debuff on orochi.

I think Sunspot should work. It might hard to line up Backfire with his incinerates since they're kinda short but it should still work.

I might try Shuri and Onslaught again. They both can do the fight and do it easier since their DOTs last longer and can be inflicted with relative ease.

How would I go about using onslaught? Play him normally ? I’m sure he’s good for the inexorable, but do I just sp2 for the degen ? Or do I sp1 for other debuffs?

Focus on inflicting Neuroshocks. The key to Orochi is inflicting a lot of DOTs. You need at least 10 to trigger Violent Purge, then interrupt her Heavy with a Special to activate Backfire which consumes all the DOT's you've inflicted and deals a burst of damage for each one at the end of the Special Attack. Rinse and repeat.

Orochi has got 6 phases in total and each one adds something small while also making her more aggressive. I'd take a look at her abilities just to see how each phase changes. However, once you reach the last phase, you can essentially play Onslaught like normal as Violent Purge and Backfire are disabled in that phase.

If you have lady deathstrike I highly recommend ranking her up for this fight. She’s definitely the best option by a mile

She’s a cheat code… I think you could even get a 5 star ascended LD

Yeah I was struggling with this fight for a while so I ranked up a 6 star lady deathstrike to rank 3 and beat Orochi in like my second try with her

    Tried him, he got cooked
Onslaught does that fight amazing. Sp1 is the key I try to to build just under a sp2 so you can use another sp1 fast enough before you get the deg one you.

    I haven't tried Onslaught.

Magneto can solo easily, if you use some of your Loyalty to buy a Mutant Power-back boost.

I’ll be honest I ran herc as my back up and solo’d the fight just countering orochis heavies, once he’s ramped up he just flies through each phase with no issues and takes her down very quickly
  • Envi1Envi1 Member Posts: 45
Might take a revive or two first go using him but he’s still a very solid option and you have him maxed by the looks of it

Storm with power back boost, you gain a ton of prowess from being bled, get to sp3, spam it till the fight is over.

Too be honest I tried every other option everyone has recommended, but your choice of herc absolutely destroyed her. Thank you dude. I wasn’t expecting it to work but it ended up working with 2 revives.

Magneto with a power back boost just makes Orochi a joke. With your rank I would boost for sure to play it safe. The key is to built up to 35 plus Prowess and have a 200% mutant power back boost. You will keep spamming SP3 to kill her off.

Thx for the insight, but I took her down already

Magneto should cheese it easily with power boost active if you had juggs I would have said him he just outdamages her regen you don't even need to apply her passive posions got easy solo in like 4mins
  • dr2wsdr2ws Member Posts: 644 ★★★
Serpent worked well, my second option behind Juggs.
