Good for (many) summoners: fewer old dud champs in the Titan

Bad for (most, maybe all) summoners: even slower turnover in Titan pool, so you are going to get those weird timing issues where a champ is introduced via EQ and early access bubdles but then they effectively disappear because of the crystal update schedule

Plus new dud champions hang in the Titan for longer
It keeps the real duds out longer. If they keep at the current pace, they’d have to start putting Psycho Man in there

I think I know what it means.

3 months instead of 2 months rollover.
Isophyne will not be in the Titan, nor will anyone with the fractured power bar.
Isophyne would’ve been added in March, however Dazzler replaces her, leaving an extra spot in the Titan.
To compensate, we are getting Rintrah in the 7* Titan pool.
We will still be getting an old science champion as a 7*.
Don’t hold me to it, but I assume this means we are also getting an old mutant as a 7* as well, if not it is 100% an old skill champion, it could be 7 champions in this pool as we are missing out on Isophyne.

Scream, Jack O Lantern, Spiral, Rintrah, Old Science, Old Mutant or Old Skill.

    Predictions: Ibom, Apoc/Stealthy.

Just a reminder that last Titan cycle didn't have a mutant and why Rintrah is being added when there is already a mystic (spiral) in the cycle. Whoever is in charge of these crystals just don't like mutants it seems.
Sadly, there are not many mutants left Kabam would let us have as a 7*, Apoc is probably the only one left, I could see AA since he needs the dupe anyways, the rest are pretty bad. This basically tells me that this is their excuse to have multiple champs of the same class in the titan for the future. I guess it makes it more unpredictable but I don’t know man.

I might be wrong, but from what I understand for the Titans after:

March = Dazzler, first champion of january, second champion of january, first champion of february, second champion of february and one older champion.

June = First champion of march, second champion of march, first champion of april, second champion of april, first champion of mat and second champion of may.

But that means no old chanpions after that ? Pretty sure i'm wrong but where ?
For one of each of the three months, there will be fractured power bar champ like isophyne, so basically remove one of the champs from your second list.

Basically one fractured power bar champ once every Saga. So for example, you’d remove one champ from May to make room for that old champ
as that champ from May is the one with the fractured power bar.

Make sense yeah, idk why I think we will get two champions and the eidol like extra xD.

So eidol 2 (Isophyne being first), march to may. Eidol 3, june to august. Eidol 4, september to november if we are good.

True but it also lengthens the wait for them to do anything with the real bangers that want see

I mean consistently the biggest critique of the Titan was old champs being in them so focusing more on new champs with longer cycles isn’t a bad thing. I personally prefer the old method because new champs will take even longer to hit the basic now.

It’s definitely a good choice, but I’m wondering how much health will a 7* r3 Rintrah have

Classic case of being careful what yall wish for. On the other hand it'll lengthen the lifespans of 7* so there's that.

They said they don't want to put more older champs in Titan and they are doing excatly the same with moving Dazzler and replacing with Rintrah. Like they are contradicting themselves.

I'm starting to question the direction the game is going with all these sudden changes that almost feel forced upon us.

The feedback on this thread already shows the discontent. But before this, another "forced" change was that the game will now be available on PC which is suspected by many to have an inherent disadvantage to mobile players via key mapping, smoother/faster gameplay to allow dexing long specials to be easier or other things like wall dexing , or stand up intercepts.

Also , some people counter this by saying the game was built for mobile not PC , but if we keep seeing champs with as much complexity built into their kit as Trigonometric Identities and when to apply them (Enchantress), then PC players will have an easier time with all those different swiping patterns

    1. I think the change is good.
    2. PC controls aren't good so no advantage. Light/Heavy on same key sux.
    3. PC FPS is 60, resolution is poor. It looks much jerkier than the mobile version which is off putting.

Nah. Older to kabam means a champ that probably needs a rework of buff of some kind. Rintrah is a beast as is despite being "older" in terms of year released.

I personally didn't have any issues with the current Titan system. It was exciting to look forward every two months to see what the two Old champions would be. Also, only having to wait two months for the oldest pool of 6 champions to rotate out was also good. Now, having to wait 3 months and having only one unknown champion to be excited about it not as fun.

On the one hand, I can see the rationale of "Kabam is running out of non-God tier Old champions to add to the crystal so moving to a 1 old champion approach will prolong 7-stars."
But, on the other hand, having to wait longer for champions to enter the Basic pool hurts FTP players while being more valuable for Paying players.

Regardless of how one feels about Rintrah, in the new scheme we'd wait till September for him to enter the basic pool (compared to waiting till June).

Paying players will be more enticed to purchase New champions, since the value of having champions that other players don't have increases; Paying players will have the advantage of using the latest Meta Attacker/Defenders longer.

Kabam don't want to ruin the value of Titan 😎

Also Kabam adding absolute duds back to back into Titan and also refusing to buff them 😁✌️

I think they realised most of the new champions in 2024 have been mid and we the people were underwhelmed.

The older champions added to the Titan to make up to 6 haven’t been at the high end of current 6* stars and we the people were underwhelmed.

They want to add more value to the Titan pool without putting in a load of overpowered 6* champions.

I’m not sure this solution of a longer wait time for an only new champion pool titan crystal is a great direction. A 3 month update for any pool to be updated isn’t a great player experience.

If I was Kabam I’d reduce the 6* featured crystal to a 2 month cadence.
