I selected a 6* mutant abyss nexus from the AOA rewards looking to either get kitty or apoc, and both dropped. If context helps, I'm valiant and have most things covered with my roster, but these two have been eluding me for a while. For people who have both, who do you currently use more and would be a better choice?

    I never got into Kitty. I have her at R3 or R4 but she never clicked for me. I use Apocalypse fairly often still. He’s solid in his own, he’s tanky, has easy access to permanent prowess which seems to come up fairly often lately, and his debuffs can’t be shrugged which comes in handy pretty often too. The horseman ability/synergy is also great for Cable and Wolverine.

    Since you're Valiant they're both well out of the meta, but they have their uses.

    Apocalypse can still make any mutant a horseman which is really nice but takes up a slot on your team and you have get him up to 4 charges (or bring Cable or Sinister). He has some strong abilities, but nothing amazing in the modern game.

    Kitty has some great utility, and is a potential dual threat if they don't know how to fight her or bring Nimrod.

    Really just take who you like the idea of more.

    Kitty is better dual threat BG champ and a great counter to Bullseye with her sig.
