Prior Deathless Champs for newer players

@KabamMike or @Kabam is there any way for players that started a year ago to obtain older deathless pieces beyond spending 5000 units per piece? Just wanted to know if there were any plans on offering deals for these for newer players who are already in the late game content. Thanks!

    I do assume you you are correct @ahmynuts to be honest. But it would be great if they thought of newer players and maybe offered another way to obtain those pieces in the new challenges.

    You also don't get access to rewards from old side quests and event quests. The deathless champions are a reward for long term play

    Newer players will have other things to join in and look forward to. Cant please everyone and trying to spoils it for half the players that did put in the work, revives and units all year long

    Well there is a piece for each in the mail as well when each was announced

    You can buy 3 for Gully and 4 each for Groot and Vision.

    The problem is if you were away and didn’t get the free pieces in the mail (not sure how long that mail stacks up for), you can only get 4 for Vision as he has no pieces in permanent content. Gully has 2 and Groot has 1.

    This could be the firts thing that money cant buy in MCOC? I mean that you can only get 3 pieces per champ despite buying 10 odins...

    Also missing the dupe on Guilly on my mini account since I wasn't able to complete the challenge with my champs at the time.

    not punishing.. they were clear from the beginning when they said the we would obtain all pieces by doing stuff and that we need ALL deathless champs to get Thanos.
    Sure people will miss pieces and there is a cost how to get what you have missed, otherwise many users would feel robbed if they all of a sudden just said here is a task to get what you are missing.
    New players will need to wait, that's it.

    Are we supposed to grind the tourism every day to see every little post as well as the game? When did they say this because as a very active member on this game who checks forums regularly, I had no idea of it and can’t find anything n it now, there’s forum is littered with others saying the same as me.
    Maybe they did maybe they didn’t but I guarantee they never said you need them and thanos to get end game rewards in a years time. This isn’t just about thanos people can go without a champ but top rewards which means others move way ahead is completely different

    They absolutely did sat you would need all 4 from the beginning. In both the livestream back then AND a forum post. Though said forum post might have been a random one from a user and not an official announcement post.

    So we’re supposed to grind the game grind the forums and grind every single livestream, just in case they say something, that’s ridiculous. And again I’ll repeat ITS NOT ABOUT THE CHAMPION if it was just that most wouldn’t care, it’s the fact they have now adding challenges based on that starts off the 7* R4 grind which they 100% haven’t mentioned at any point until yesterday

    I have no issue having to pay for prior pieces since I wasn't playing at that time, but is it even possible to get the other two missing pieces of Deathless Guilly?

    I see they are selling 3 pieces, but wasn't sure where to get the other 2.

    We do not know what objective the tier t7b is attached to. The deathless thanos could simply be a objective to awaken deathless thanos as there is no crystal for him to be found in and the 7* awakening gems are rare. Like wise there is another one with maestro that will also be about awakening him.

    The t7b could just be from a objective that requires specific champ.

    My guess is that you will have to complete certain amount of objectives to get the t7b and the deathless thanos might just be a extra one, just like how it’s a additional point in the SoS milestones when a deathless objective shows up.

    If I remember it was either Mike or Jax that said they may bring chances in to get the Deathless pieces again but it would be much later and if they did it would be in very difficult content... because the best way was to get them the first time they appeared.

    ....but, a lot of the team has changed since then so the plans may've changed also. We'll only ever really know if they announce anything about it.

    Yes. 1 is in necropolis and 1 is in the Gully challenge.

    This is classic Kabam at its finest ,creating a bunch of flashy, mostly useless champions that take an eternity and a small fortune to grind out. And if you so much as blink and miss one? Congratulations, you’re basically locked out of any content that even remotely involves them.
    And 5k price tag for every piece is just beyond ridiculous.

    Even while away, I made sure to claim the mail one’s, leading me to have 2 for gully, 1 for she hulk, 1 for vision, and 1 for dkg, meaning I should be able to get all of them besides she hulk right ? Which I don’t care for her or thanos, I kinda just want dkg but might as well claim the other two if I can.

    It's not different at all. You don't HAVE to have deathless thanos, he's a reward for long term play. If you're playing the game the 6 star versions can be achieved with a bit of grinding and if you haven't then you don't need to worry about getting them.

    The point is that it's not essential in the same way that old eq rewards aren't essential and if you weren't around to grind for the rewards then you don't get them. I missed out on deathless kg 7 star because I missed a point on the first spring of suffering boss which sucks but cest la vie

    It’s not the same at all, miss EQ you’re not getting punished a few months later with not being able to get end game rewards
