Didn’t Kabam Crash say Banquet would be a LOT cheaper????

Maybe I’m wrong, misremembering. Could’ve sworn Kabam Crashed said banquet would be quite a bit cheaper this year! If so? Blatant lie! Probably playing on rewards being better than last year(not increased enough for me). Cheaper compared to what?? Spending money in the u it store? Cheaper compared to what it cost to actually “buy” what is POSSIBLE (only possible NOT probable!!) from banquet crystals? Feel that’s what he was saying. Cost of banquet crystals versus buying in units store. Not the way he said it though! Feel like he was very hidden and misleading with that statement. We all knew it would cost more units. It costs more units every year. He said way less

    They give us 7* free, so I think they say to each other, have not gone too much, even for the 10 years of the games.

    7* were free last year 2x. Unless ur talking about the 10x10. That only applies to paragon and valiant. I’ll spend about 10k units and see how it goes. They really should’ve increased more than they did though. Especially considering last year was an absolute joke for banquet

    Plus with **** line 7* Vision, Thanos, Kang????????? Seriously??? They are meh at max level! Last hear had shocker, Proff x, guardian, and somebody else. No weapon X this year that I saw either. Will reserve FULL judgement til event is mostly over and I see what crystals bring

    They probably even wanted to put the event details in the Store page instead, where people can't put dislikes on there or comment on how awful the point acquisition is. I also feel like that's one of the reasons why they delayed the info as well. They can't let the hype die too quickly.

    You get better rewards than what of last year using same amount of units. It is going to cost more if you want more.

    What are you on about? Those trophy champs are there every year. They’re just 7* now. Last year shocker, prof x etc were all the gifted guardian pool, this year we have the guardian reworks (medusa, Deadpool xforce, sentry, sentinel, black panther cw, purgatory) who are all also in the crystal.

    Not a horrible pool by any means/not great either. Maybe 50/50, then if champ u pull needs dupe. They were 7* last year also BTW! I know because I got both crystals and both were 7* professor x, would’ve rather had gladiator and shocker. Is what it is, that was 1yr ago. Feel like I’d still rather have shocker or gladiator compared to 1/2 this pool. Other 1/2 of current pool is straight, but def not game changers without LONG ramp ups, dupes, or synergies. Again only decent, and therefore disappointing after 10yrs and units needed. Just daying

    Cheaper can also mean for same amount of units - u will get better rewards which is in the Super Banquet crystal 🤷🤷

    This year the event suffered from too much hype. Calling this thing a Grand Banquet and giving us a bunch of 7 stars makes the Banquet itself look mid by comparison

    Asher. Thinking that was Kabams sneaky ass saying what u just said slighly better rewards for more units spent =same. Still disagree a bit, but gonna be what it is. I’ll see how everything (solo/ally/event) looks in like 10 days or so. Was really wanting (1/2 expecting 3-4 7* and 1 Titan) for about 15k units

    I’m disappointed man I spent all year grinding units just to get the same items in all the crystals on top of I have no more units or money to get the milestones or the contribution requirements which means I’ll miss out on the better rewards

    They also said many things about the event like filtering out bad things players didn’t want.

    So much hyped was going into the event.
