Why can't officers remove a leader?

Our alliance has gone through a bad week. Our leader stepped down to take time off from the game, and the next officer in terms of seniority was placed in charge. He turned into a total douche out of no where though, and 1/3 of the team left.

Is it possible for him to be removed if all the officers petition that? Or do we have to all start over from scratch and lose all standings?

    The Leader can appoint a new Leader, but there are no means to which you can boot him.

    We had a similar situation where our leader fell inactive. Only thing to do is decude who you want the leader to be and have them drop out and form a new Alliance then get your peeps over there. Sucks gettin your war rating back up but is the only way other than having the leader promote someone else to leader.

    Its definitely frustrating. We're starting a new alliance after SA ends.

    If the leader goes afk for 30 days you can go to kabam support and have leadership switched by them but that’s it
