I think this was always planned. The fact that it went live overnight on a weekend further backs up that idea, a time when Kabam has never previously dropped content. I believe this was prebuilt to appear some time after hitting the Isophyne dupe.

And why is there a vision, kang and Thanos selector in there as the TOP MILESTONE???
Coulda just put a titan nexus or an awakening gem instead not that trash selector.
Some people like to be able to collect all available champs regardless if they stink.

I was definitely thinking of getting the valiant bundle to reach that milestone HAD that TRASH SELECTOR "NOT" been the final reward.

Also this is nothing but CLEAR GREED from kabam. They know everyone has exhausted the units so they keep adding these milestones so people buy these bundles to push for these rewards. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WE HAVE TO CLIMB THIS HARD just to get 1k titan shards every 4 milestone and then get this USELESS selector as the final reward(for now).

Even if we reach this and they add a couple few milestones which then include the titan nexus do you know how many units a free player would have to spend to get it???
We're talking OVER 30K points. Which F2P is raising 30k points just from units in a year of grinding??? Not to mention this is literally NEARLY OR OVER DOUBLE units it cost to max out the banquet last year.

Any milestones above isophene dupe are bonuses. They are meant to be like that because it is not supposed to be a goal.

I might push for the 2-3 crystal, but that champ selector is a$$. No motivation at all. Now if it had been a Glorious Guardians AG or a plain AG, that would have been enticing.

It kinda sucks cause I actually want 7* Thanos. Just for the sake of having him. But the milestone feels so out of reach. They continue to show their greed, even after the community has reached a goal that is absurd to begin with. They still push their luck, hoping people will give into the greed. I'd be happy if we achieve it, but sadly at the cost of giving in. At LEAST give Stark Foundation points to assist us, after achieving such a high milestone to begin with.

Id love the kang but honestly points should slow down after the 2-3 as its not worth going higher in my opinion

Prepare to be shocked and bewildered. I'm not saying the event has been good or bad, but this community doesn't represent the overall player pool in the slightest. Again, that's not a knock on them or this forum or anyone. I just wouldn't want to be delusional and think that my personal or the forum's values and standards are ubiquitous when the evidence consistently shows that they're not.

Nah. I am able to get all milestones without spending a single dollar. All units from arena and other parts of the game.
15k units on one event is a significant amount, considering the countless other sales that happen throughout the year.

The difference here is that if you start spending you really need to finish at 15k+ otherwise you're getting terrible value for your spend.

Players never expected the value to be top loaded like this and for the crystals to be so despicably poor, based on all the years that we've done this event before.

F2p can't just spend on countless sales of the year.
F2p have to target 2 sales at best,
One July-4th

That's it, these 2 sales are the biggest that will boost F2p account to being big.

And it's very easy to save at least 20k for each sale throughout the year.

Nah. I am able to get all milestones without spending a single dollar. All units from arena and other parts of the game.
15k units on one event is a significant amount, considering the countless other sales that happen throughout the year.

The difference here is that if you start spending you really need to finish at 15k+ otherwise you're getting terrible value for your spend.

Issue was me and my tired vacation brain. I see that in game as well now, so I'm pretty sure that was the intended reward and the one I opened enough crystals to nab.
