Going with the question of 'favourite' - not interpreting this as 'best' because he isn't the best underrated champion, but: Ghost Rider.
A bit like @Squidopus says about Taskmaster, I think he's just a small tune-up away from greatness (here's one...)
All the ingredients are there: Bleed Immunity, Incinerate immunity, Fate Seal, Life Steal, Power Drain, Bleed, Fury and Damnation.
Simply put: Ghost Rider has immunities, he can control buffs, he can control Power, and he can regenerate almost limitlessly. Make him reliable at doing those things, and take off the pillow-fists; and he'd be genuinely brilliant.
Right now, he's just my favourite old-time champion that I break out for AQ and the occasional Mystic quest...
Nova is severely underrated and vision Aarkus is a war criminal to any developer reading this burn his files and then burry them in a desert in new Mexico
Night Thrasher - I'm not gonna make any claims about how good NT is because he could use a buff. However, he's one of my favorite champions in the game and has some really unique abilities, especially for a Skill champion.
He can utilize Dodge and Well-Timed blocks to gain some power while under 1 Bar and easily shuts down Evade and Auto-Block. His damage is tied to his Signature Ability unfortunately but it's pretty easy to push to its max and keep up for the entire fight. Plus, the Taunt is nice in being able to help bait Special Attacks and he has pretty good Block Proficiency on base.
Again, I'm not gonna claim he has crazy damage or can be used in lots of content. But, he's definitely my favorite underrated champion among the long list of underrated champions.

I'm not sure about that just because of balancing. It might not be too much but I'm afraid giving him Halt could mean taking something else away from his kit.
For the most part, I like his kit the way it is except for his Debilitate, Purify, and the fact that his damage is locked behind his Sig ability. Everything else just needs to be tuned up and then something added to his Sig to replace the Taunt, which would be moved to his base kit.
Awakened Annihilus, especially at high sig, is so underrated, and his kit is SO POWERFUL, it will not be released as a 7-star until the very end of the 7-star release cycle.

Believe this or not, but I always say things that can be replicated in the game, if a person chooses to use the kit:
Because of how the Sig Ability for Annihilus works, I once hit a 90K crit — yes, that’s 90,000 — HEAVY ATTACK, with the defender’s back against the wall.

What this kit can do is just…Look at the Khonshu’s Ankh page. See how few Synergies the kit has.
Never been buffed. Hardly ever talked about.
Because SOMEONE at Kabam knows how freaking busted this kit actually is.

I think he could benefit from a Red Guardian style of buff, put his sig ability into his base kit, give him a new sig, increase his numbers (mainly the red ones), etc
Taskmaster: our only resident debuff immune champ, coupled with defensive AND offensive AAR, up to 50% perfect block chance, and decent damage in several forms. I think he’s genuinely an Angela-level buff away from being cracked.
Doc Ock: the goat. Specials a problem? Just say no! Champions legally cannot throw a special without your consent. Surprisingly competent damage too; it turns out your damage gets inflated a lot when you don’t ever have to waste time baiting and dexing a special. Otto can clear some bg matches in as little as 35-40 seconds, and 65-70 is about the slowest it gets in matchups that don’t hard counter him in some way.
Taskmaster is definitely close to being good but I think currently his rotation is very stressful to maintain and he needs max sig
It's definitely Mysterio for me. Ever since I pulled him as a 7 star, I've really enjoyed using him. While his damage and rotation definitely isn't the best, I still just enjoy his Playstation regardless
Enchantress as an attacker is underrated. She has so many different spells that she can handle pretty much any situation, and the spells are laid out on the pause screen so you can always double check before casting them. It's actually one of the easiest kits to use once you get past how much stuff there is available.

But the ramp up takes so long, even compared to Wong. Other than that, agreed, her utility makes up for it
my absolute underrated goat in the game is symbiote supreme. He was my first r5 5star, r2/3/4 6 star. Whenever i saw a heavy buff matchups nowadays, or some serpent in aw, sym is always the first guy that i thought of. I remembered when people bringing doom to abyss and took like 10+ revives for abyss venom the duck, sym was just sitting there, chilling sp3s spam for 5+ minutes straight. Probably one of the most fun fights i have ever had.
