One of the more money hungry moves I've seen. With a couple tiers still to unlock and a pace that wasn't going to finish them, they drop more stuff that we will just get to look at and not actually achieve. Lovely. Granted, it was probably set up to trigger after a certain point threshold, but someone should've turned it off.
Well there is a few points here that I feel get jumbled together.
1) I also agreed with many other, that is most likely an automated system that been put in place, and it js active as soon as Realm react a certain important milestone (like the Isophyne and Trophy Selector.
This mean that Kabam isn't active trying to squeeze every single pence out of the players at the very last mins.
2) However from the players perpective it doesn't look good to have all of these "nee" milestone appearing in the last 24hrs of the event, it is nkt hard for the players to feel the way they do.
Solution/Lesson learn for next year:- It might be good if Kabam could add an extra coding so these "extra" milestones doesn't appear within a certain time before the event end. I would say 48hrs of the event end would be a good cut of points so no more new milestones appear.
3) This is only a small suggestions and I can understand players would think it is controversial, I don't think it is compulsory, and I definitely didn't think or expect it to happen before during the event.
However, now, I think it would go a long way to "manage" the relationship between Kabam and the players in a somewhat eventful Banquet event.
I think it would be good if the Stark Foundation to jump in and help push the Realm to the Class 7*.
Based on the various increase of the milestones it is clear that Kabam have reach and passed their "fund raising" target for this event. So give the players a little extra is not really going to hurt Kabam in anyway.
Again it would nice and helpful, but I'm not hold my breath
Whatevee happen, I must say, I will glad to see this event end 😊
What i dont get if automatic is the fact of why not just show these from day 1 why make them hidden and activate at a certain milestone reach
I don't know if it was their intention, but it does absolutely re-trigger FOMO in players who would have otherwise thought themselves to be done spending.
What i dont get if automatic is the fact of why not just show these from day 1 why make them hidden and activate at a certain milestone reach
I think that included all of these milestones at the very beginning would cause far too much FOMO from our passionate community, remember the last Realm event, even those most players know where the "last" main milestone was, these were still many that grt upset of the "missed out" Titan shard.
Hence why Kabam have to included the Question Mark ? "reward" with the Isophyne milestone.
I don't the automatic updated extra milestones is bad thing, but like I said I above, it would be better if Kabam code a cut of time for when the extra milestones should not appear, for example, 48hrs before the event end.

I mean, rolling out one new milestone (instead of 10) at a time as we complete them would probably suffice.

Yeah but even if they show these day 1 people can decide still on how many points they wanna put up most still wont change from 23k as its expensive as hell, and yeah it should of been turned off with 24 hours left at most

Yes. We weren’t even two days into the event and players were freaking out that we wouldn’t hit the isophyne milestone.
That’s really messed up to do that at the last minute and basically display rewards we have zero shot at
Do y’all also get mad when you see AW rewards that you can’t get? There’s nothing wrong or shady about this. If the milestones had been visible from the jump, you’d be yelling that it was wrong for Kabam to have built them when they knew we had chance of reaching them. So they built a system that didn’t reveal them until certain thresholds were reached, so that people wouldn’t prematurely freak out.
They didn’t account for the fact that some people just love freaking out regardless.
I have no idea why some players expect Stark Foundation to swoop in.
The mechanics of it don't even work.
1. Stark Foundation adds points to Realm milestones - only the Whaliest of whales benefit since other players have stopped spending, and players that might spend have no time to qualify. So it is essentially a "donation" that helps only the 1%.
2. Stark Foundation adds points to Realm Milestones AND the Individual contribution - Players who barely spent now gain access to rewards they didn't contribute to. The large amount of players who spent money just to reach specific milestones (Eg. Box Key, Isophyne) feel pissed off that they had to spend money on something they could have gotten for free. And again, the first point still applies.
If they do nothing, they only piss off the players who are already pissed off by Kabam. Which, judging by how much spending continues to occur in the Banquet Realm event, is a small minority of players who don't even spend anyways.
They should unlock the rewards for everyone who has enough individual points to get them. It really sucks to put up big numbers and miss out because the community didn't pull their weight.

This. But there are probably players that are currently capped at the 7* Thanos/lang/vision selector.
Those players are probably waiting if they will add more points just to get the milestones if ever Kabam decided to donate with stark foundation
Essentially right now MCOC is running in auto as the majority of Kabam staffs are still off.
Hence why we got the automatic milestones updated.
Why there isn't any discussion with the Summoners on all the up and down on the Babquet event. There will be no one at Kabam to present the Stark Foundation help button (even if that was a consideration)
Why we not hearing back from Kabam on the multitude of bugs in December update
Why we got nothing on the Incursion bug that also finish.
I must say it is an very "interesting" way for MCOC to celebrate its 10 Years anniversary, it did happened just more for the Kabam staffs than the Summoners.

Wait you personally need to hit 1 MILLION personal score?!
However it does explain a lot of things.
