I dont use cheeilth i dont use shang chi i dont have cat dont like cross bones moleman i rarely use but i would use sable more than any as one thing they dont have is a fun play style
IMO, they missed the mark. Nice change to damage, but I still don't think I'll be ranking and playing with my 7* sable. It would be a different story If they gave an infuriate or made the enemy AI more aggressive the more shocks they had.
I’ve tested her, she can definitely do short fights better
I don't know why people keep mistaking the point of buffs with enticing people to pick them over other Champs.

With as many Champs in the game as we have, no. Not expressly. That's something Players do. They compare, they rank, they mark their preferences. From a design perspective, that's a horrible objective. You're always just taking a peg and putting it ahead of others, then going back to start again. The objective of these revisions is more acute than that. It's really about aligning the Champs themselves with their goals for them, rather than trying to get Players to prefer them more than others.

I’m using them in different situations. But, honestly? In a science matchup, I’m going Sable over Black Cat, and I love Black Cat.
I think it’s really being overlooked how insane a 100% disorient off of a single heavy that can’t miss is. No build up, no ramp, just turn them off right from the start of the fight. If we see any tough science defenders this year, I think she’ll age really well.
You know what… that’s a really strong argument. Fair point, definitely something worth considering. I still think that her damage loop is more rigid than the champs she’s competing with for resources, but that gives her something extra for those that enjoy the play style.

Is she the best skill in the game? Nope but you kinda lost your own point by listing 6 characters from the class. ......so in essence she went from BY FAR THE WORST champ in the class (possibly even the game) and now she's at least top third of the class .....that's what a buff should be .... Not everyone is getting a hulk or juggs buff. I feel it's perfect.....she's fun as hell to play....and her ramp and play style is just enough to keep me engaged and enjoy the game....other people are arguing there are better options where you just parry, combo, parry, special.... It gets so mundane and boring and repetitive. Love what they did with her.....she has more utility than people are giving her credit for too....she can purify essentially any 3 debuffs every 12 seconds .....completely shuts off all science abilities with 1 heavy.....a heavy that can't miss.....her damage is respectable.....if they are shock immune then she deals huge energy burst damage.....so her biggest weakness is someone who you can't shock or deal energy damage to ......I dunno just my opinion but I love using her. Time will tell if she's worth anything once we get some tough content to test her out in

Well that’s a different argument when you tack on a word like “expressly”. Designing a champ around being “the better version of X” is stupid, I agree, but making sure the design has some hook that makes people interested in them is not. You can have some sort of comparative framework without getting so explicit as that, especially since this game is so big as you say. Kabam has their goals for champs, and it’s not only possible but reasonable for that goal to occasionally be “mid” or “niche” or whatever, but it always should boil down to “some people will want to use this champ instead of other champs”, which means making an enticing factor; if you make a champ that no one uses (for a realistic reason, you’ll always have some people who are just attached to the character or something), that is a design failure even if it meets the goals set out for it.

I don't see how they missed the mark? They made her damage loop actually work and made her a lot of fun to play. They've already said that they don't want to give every character that needs to intercept an Infuriate because the goal would be to just fix the ai
