Hear the! Hear the!
Rogue is quite the beloved character, and with anything at Kabam we know they like to limit the famous bunch of the crop.
But I think we need to change, starting with Rogue! A character with a kit that has so much potential, but also lacks compared to others.
First we need that 2.5 seconds putting right up to 10 seconds to keep buffs. With the updated AI, getting another hit in after special 1 is only going to be an off-chance.
Obviously, the type of buffs she can take needs to be updated to combat newer champions. And why shouldn’t she be able to take unstoppable?
With that certain passives don’t register, a Rogue being able to turn Bishops Prowess upon himself would be an awesome counter.
Lastly! ….we all know those buns don’t do Rogue no justice, an we demand Justice!

This chick stole captain Marvel's powers and nearly killed her!
Ever since I started playing MCOC, I've really willed her to work well. She does "okay" damage when she's at max Sig (increases Special attack crit chance) and can get a few cycles of her SP2 off, but beyond that you're completely right, her signature power of taking the opponent's strength isn't represented very well in that it's very, very difficult to maintain, and further can actually only capture a handful of buff types, as a lot of the buffs we have in game were added after her initial design.
A few modern changes could really help her out, I agree with the 10 seconds timer but if it could be paused during your opponent's specials, *or* perhaps refreshed if you hit a blocking champion (you're still making contact for all intents and purposes). I enjoy the Debuff reduction she has too but there are some really weird ways that can backfire (e.g Cassie's combo detonation, you can't get 14 hits in when you're reducing the duration, similar with Icarus' special detonation).
I hold hope, the X-Men made up a lot of the earlier bunch of MCOC characters and there are some around her with buffs and reworks, fingers crossed she's on Kabam's radar 🤞
It does refresh hitting a block. You should check out the videos on here where someone defeats necro Odin with a 2 and 3 star rogue.
Just tested it, the block hits definitely do work.
But!
The defensive power gain is too great compared to the 2.5 second timer, they’re either going to call out a special straight away and you’ll loose the buffs, or if your lucky…. you’ll get 1 combo in with the buffs before they call in a special removing them.
A timer pause is most definitely needed.
The health regenerations would have to be decreased or better capped, milking 4 regens from hulkling & keeping hold of them would make her near indestructible.
She does have this nice synergy as well. I'm not disagreeing with you, btw, maybe this could be moved to her base kit and some other synergy added here instead.
The Rogue in the comics has always been a full grown, southern belle.

Rogue, Psylocke, Storm (at least visually), Jubilee, Phoenix, the X-Women are known in the comics as being the most badass and incredibly powerful, but in this game they are mostly cannon fodder.
They need to hit harder cause they’re all so badass.
I was by far the weakest so I had to prove myself to be an asset to the alliance.
I was in an ally with a few 1M+ and 800k rated accounts with barely 250k and conqueror.
It had to play map 5 with r4 4* rogue. She was MY STRONGEST champion because she just simply never died. I would spam that sp1 life steal and just laugh my way through map 5.
She did so much for me. She was also one of my first r5 5 stars.
I would love a 7 star BUFFED version as long as her life and power steal are still kept and she finds her way to deal great damage (hopefully she won't be reliant on stealing buffs and it'll just be an unnecessary bonus).
Give Rogue multiple Buffs!
But for real, justice for Rogue, Psylocke, and Jean! They really should be amongst the best characters in the game.
