was just messing around in necropolis while I had boosts running, and got this fight off with Kate, now my problem is this is my stash, and I have a solid team for the run, this would be my first necro run
Team is :
7r2 serpent for aarkus
R3 Chavez for Kate synergy
Nick for the boost
Kate for main attacking
Onslaught just in case and for gm
This would also get me valiant

Here’s the stash :

My question is if I revive and start my run ? I don’t think I’m ready, and know nothing about any other fight

Yeah as others have said, you’ll want more revives. Also be sure to bring someone immune to reverse controls. Onslaughts psychic shielding won’t prevent reverse controls, you’ll need someone fully immune like Wiccan, iron heart, jack o lantern, or juggernaut (currently bugged).

What you're going to do when your reach that "reverse-reversed control" final phase of GM?

    Does onslaught work ?

If he doesn’t I’ll be fine, I actually don’t struggle with reverse controls at all and if that doesn’t work, I’ll just invert my screen

Who's your reverse control immune for GM? Onslaught doesn't, and (no offense), the reverse controls is actually far worse than you think it'll be.

If your strategy against reverse controls is inverting your screen, you’re going to get rolled by GM phase 4. He switches your controls back or forth for every non-block action you take, and I don’t think pausing and flipping your screen each time that happens is gonna be practical. You can deal with phase 4 without a RC immunity if you’re very comfortable with them and have a strategy (I did my second Necro run with Shuri and 4 Zemos and just took on GM raw), but especially on your first Necro run I’m gonna suggest with the rest of the folks here that you take the easy way out and bring an immunity. And yes, Onslaught does not have RC immunity, you’d need a different option.

okay then, you guys are more skilled then me in this haha

I’ll bring in maybe Wiccan? Or does r2 ironheart work then ?

I don't know iron heart well, but if you can keep her armor up the entire time, she'll be fine. I'd personally take Wiccan.

The hard part about GM is, of course, doing the prompts with reverse controls. And then also dealing with reverse controls changing to regular controls after every action (so reverse, normal, reverse, normal, etc). If it's your first time doing GM, I'd definitely recommend bringing a Reverse immune champ.

I just finished my completion run with my mutant team and I was doing great until grandmaster. I used probably 10-15 revives on him alone, he is a pain. You definitely want a reverse control immune in some form or fashion. Onslaught is not immune to them. I used about 30 revives in total and definitely recommend building up that stash probably double just to be safe. (You never know when a champ will just be way harder than you thought). Nova was surprisingly annoying for my run. Wiccan works, if you have a Mr. Sinister, he also does well.

I have sinister r2, and I have Wiccan r1, taking him to r2 doesn’t look doable however

Do you have juggernaut, if not then bring r2 sinister or r2 ironheart, both are equally good for necro imo.

    I wish, here’s my current r2 :

Can’t go wrong with any of these, I have Chavez r3 btw, I took knull up because I had a spare gem, and wanted to use it.

then regretted it because I pulled dpx, but oh well

Do NOT bring Juggs. His sp2 big will make the last phase not fun since he can't hit with it until they fix the bug.

Kate as the main killer, chavez for synergy, nova, aarkus.
Can bring serpent for aarkus aswell, omega sent, guardian and cap falcon. Works if you take apoc path aswell.
Onslaught really helps aswell, r3 recommended, can take brit if you can manage rc, wiccan, valk, guardian, dragon man (can get painful) and capiw.
Do you have wong or shuri? If yes then you can replace serpent or onslaught and bring the 5th rc immune, I'd just say iheart for now since sinister really needs apoc synergy to do great
    damage before timer runs out.

Grind atleast 50 revives, alot of heals and backup have some backup aswell, maybe 4h crystals or units.

Can’t Chavez do dragon man no problem ? The purple dimension should stop all his power gain

I was using Chavez against aarkus last night and brought him down to 70 or I think 60 in one run, no problems, then he went rooted and I got slapped by a sp2, Chavez purple dimension stops power gain

he goes stun immune for a while after every 3 crits so that will be a problem..

we should have new content drop today. EQ completion on lower levels offers up a revive package for units dealie…might be worth it; between completion and a little arena you’d get the units quickly.

which progression level completion offer is usually best?
