Note: I already have ascended 6* R5 (Ultron , Viv Vision) & 7* R2 (Shocker, L.deathstrike)

Whom to upgrade to 6* R5 for better attacker on annoying mutants? 45 votes

    Have to keep redskull at r4a. You'll not regrent not ranking him up when you eventually pulm the 7*.

    Nimrod can be an option but most of us have already stopped using him.

    Sentinel is great option, why? We are not getting him for a year as a 7*, so there's a value for investment.

    6* peni is not that great.
    Pull a 7* peni and send one to me too.

    6* shuri is 100% ehh.

    OG iron man as a great option for raids. But you might pull the 7*.

    It's hard to decide rankups these days.

    Don't randomly upgrade, r4a with boosts are fine in most content. Except necro, and you are not using these in necro anyway.

    Yeah, it totally depends on who specially you want a counter for.

    Shuri is probably the worst choice on this list, unless you are just looking for random reasons to rank up a female champ. No heal block, no way to remove prowess, and her debuffs aren’t great against many of the more annoying mutants.

    Nimmy is the only one not available as a 7*.
    Sentinel gets a shout because who knows when he will be available in the basic.

    Really depends on who the annoying mutants you want to counter are, though.

    He can take domino and negasonic (based on your small list above my post) but he's useless against bishop.

    He also can't take 2 of the most annoying mutants in onslaught and dust.
    He wrecks the mutants he can take though.

    Then who's the alternative against Mutants?
    We are slowly but surely switching to 7*s and people are mostly using Redskull, shocker, prowler, jacko( too new even for me) warlock guardian and some of their preferences. Many champs outside tech class are better counters than nimrod.

    For regular content we can live without an R5 nimrod. Can't remember when was the last time I used my r4 nimrod. He was one of my early r4s 2 years ago. Havent ascended him either.

    If you need him for war, go ahead. You'll get more resources and champs with time. But for regular content he doesn't need to be R5.

    In my mini alt, r4a redskull put in more work than r3 nimrod. Nimrod helped enough at r3 when he was needed, and filled some roster gaps.
