First of all FINALLY, those gems were just collecting dust for the longest time .
Secondly although I'm glad for the option, the 1:1 exchange rate is downright horrendous 💀. Like come on man atleast do like 3 or 5 stones per gem. This exchange rate is just not it.

Actually yk what if you're afraid of the people that have a lot of them stashed away , screw the stones and let us exchange these gems for 7* awakening gem crystal shards instead.

The shard trade sounds like a good idea, but the problem is the wide range of amounts players have. They would have to ensure that the trade amount was low enough that the players that literally have hundreds can't just buy their way to a ton of 7* AGs, because at the moment 7* AGs are super valuable as chase rewards. But if they make the trade small enough, like say 1% of an AG, then the players who only have dozens won't be able to get anything at all from their trade in the near term. And since the trade makes no sense if you aren't going to form one (there's no inventory limit on 6* AGs, so you might as well hold them until you have enough to form a 7* AG) a 7* AG trade would mean either most players wouldn't bother to trade, or Kabam would have to limit how many the players with the most of them could trade, either one of which would defeat the purpose of the trade existing in the first place.

Does multiple players actually have hundreds of 6 star ags or was
    that an exaggeration?

I'm aware there exist players who have more than two hundred, and I myself have over thirty so its entirely possible the number of players who have at least a hundred is substantial, and the number of players who have over two hundred is non-trivial.

Limit the number that can be traded for the ag shards similarly to how they limit how often you can buy the 7 star loyalty crystal. At best they can trade for 1 gem every 90 days then.

I'm actually really looking forward to running sector 6 rm 25 incursions to get 1 generic 7* stone.

Just got mine. I'm so excited. Ready to start max sigging some 7*. JK

I mean when you use a gem it's only 1 sig level anyways.
