I've made a horrible deathless mistake

Unlike many who missed some deathless pieces, I haven't given into despair. I did collect all of the pieces for She Hulk, 4/5 pieces for Guillotine, 3/5 pieces for Vision, and 2/5 pieces for King Groot.
I decided to start the journey of grinding (and spending) for the 30,000 units I would need to finally complete the set.
With my first 5k units, I decided to complete guillotine by buying the cursed blade segment..... Yes the very same piece that was available in the Guillotine's challenge in permanent content.
I didn't realize it until days later, and I feel like an absolute dingbat.
Anyways, I went ahead and completed the challenge so I am now the proud owner of both a 7* deathless guillotine and a 7* cursed blade segment. I submitted a ticket to Kabam begging asking them if they could do anything to reverse it so that I could put those units towards another piece instead.
I'm not optimistic, but here's to hoping someone learns from my costly mistake.

Remember you bought the piece. Got gully and have an extra piece. Which means you bought gully with the bought piece.
If you kept both pieces and have not yet bought gully im confident about the refund.
That's a brutal lesson to learn, though. 😭

Let me just say, we can skip all deathless champs except one.
Thanos is actually cooking. So everything we did was for a 7* r3 sig 200 thanos.
Gives free prestige to us peasants, not a major point. But he is actually showing results.
Most players don't need the highest prestige anyway. It's nice to look. And free 165 sigs helps general population. Only investment required is 35 sigs and we good.

Kabam support was able to take my cursed blade segment and refund the 5000 units. I guess that going the distance to complete the objective was my saving grace.
