That northstar boss is horrible. Does anyone have any good options for him I need silk and cgr on the team who should the other be cosmic mystic or science

    Sentinel absolutely cooks him. He made Northstar the easiest fight of the whole gauntlet for me. Serpent is a great counter too

    I hate him too, but purely by himself because of his animations.
    For the boss just use a champ who counters miss (like serpent), has unlockable sps(serpent) or who's fine with landing sps into block (sinister sp1)

    I managed a solo with Ironheart.

    Keep the debuffs up to negate the untouchable after his specials, and bait his sp1 since it's easy to dex. You can safely punish the his sp1 if your debuffs are up, then go straight into your special.

    I would go so far as to say that the Ironheart vs Northstar matchup was the easiest one.

    Easier cheese for me was Serpent, the power gain + being able to dash foward and just throw Sps into block.
    Fair point. I need to get some stick time using him as an attacker. I have him r3 sig 200, but I only ever use him as a defender in war and BGs. There's so many beastly cosmics, I usually defer to others for attacking purposes.

    I lasted a fair amount with Quicksilver, but for some reason he always blocked my specials at the exact moment, really annoying those wacky animations

    the fight is just annoying and terrible, with so many nodes just to spite and make it unnecessarily harder than it probably should.

    main source of damage power shield, but how about we lock specials unless you dash in, punish heavy

    northstar has many hits and ai can be janky, add bubble shield.

    you know what they can punish the sp1 and easily use specials, add a miss just to make it more fun

    where are the boss fights like jessica jones where we get grit for being able to punish the specials eh

    Don't need, but it makes it easier.

    If you can't punish the special, its easier to lose ground (as you're waiting out the untouchable or the unblockable from bubble shield), and then get trapped against the wall, where he'll get you.

    If you don't have unblockable specials, Northstar's AI can be good at blocking your dash and then wasting your special.

    It's overall a fight that anybody can handle, but it can get annoying if the defender doesn't play ball. A Miss counter just gives you more control.

    1st run with Onslaught, Prof X and Bullseye was 0 revives, my 2nd run with deathless thanos, vision and guilly was a revive fest and my 3rd run with Serpent, WBN and deathless She hulk was one revive, all right paths
