Quick heal stole my units

I will preface this by saying I have submitted two tickets to support and they have been instantly closed. I would post this in the bug report section of the forum but read that ideally you should submit a ticket for a specific issue. As I have done that and been rejected twice immediately, I thought I’d see if anyone could help here.

After using a team revive in necropolis to beat air-walker, I attempted to use the quick heal function to heal my white tiger to full (costing 42 units). After pressing the button once, it did nothing. So I pressed it again twice in a spammy frustrated way. It then approved it, healed me to full but charged me 126 units. So clearly it has registered that I’ve pressed the button 3 times, but as I can only get healed to full HP once (worth 42 units in this case) the other 84 units were completely wasted. Not sure if anyone else has had this but I rarely used the quickheal function and won’t be using it in future! Any insight or help would be appreciated.

I agree the design should be altered, and the worst part is even though I consciously made the (stupid) decision to quickheal I paid an additional 2x the amount I should’ve and can’t get those units back. I know I can get the units back through many easily accessible means but that’s not the point. Getting immediately rejected by support twice also leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I would try and reach out to someone but for 84 units I’m not sure anyone really cares.

I despise the quick heal option and wish I could get rid of it altogether. It doesn’t priority items expiring in your stash .

Like Bond said 100% anti resource management

Odd. Are you sure you were deducted three times? Any way to verify that, like you were recording your runs or have before and after screenshots or something? Anything to double check against memory?

Unfortunately I was not recording my run, and due to the anger I had after this issue I frittered away numerous units completing the path. As such my total unit count is now below what it was after the issue had occurred, however I can provide the approximate (within a few minutes) time it happened as well as the exact unit counts. Interestingly, I saw the units be deducted separately (ie, 42 units were taken away) in real-time with a slight half a second pause between each set of 42. When I purchased the quick heal, I was at 1,462 units and afterwards was at 1,336 - an exact deduction of 126 units. I have no concept of how much detail Kabam can view accounts and while it obviously will be to a great extent there may not be a way of verifying this other than the fact I sent two tickets almost immediately after the issue took place.

I asked support to investigate, and they determined you were in fact deducted multiple times. They should have refunded you the extra two charges (84 units) by now and are reviewing what might have happened to your account. Let me know if those units do not appear back.
They have indeed reappeared now. Thank you very much for helping me out swiftly and with ease I appreciate it!

From what you said you hitting it once and not instantly completing the transaction then hitting it 2 more times is probly where the other 2 charges came from being that shouldnt happen if you do do it in the future i would probly hold off on the rage pushes like you said just look to see if you have the spinning wheel if that is there just take a deep breathe and im sure it will go through

I mean yeah, but that's not really the point. It should have done that no matter what

@DNA3000 any Idea why this bug have happened?

It shouldn’t be possible and it could not be replicated in testing, so it is likely there was something going on in the OP’s client that triggered a corner case bug. It has happened before in other contexts, for example there used to be a sig stone related glitch that would cause sig stones to be incorrectly deducted from game accounts when they were used en masse, particularly when the game client crashed during the process. Kabam altered the way this process worked on the backend to prevent it from happening in the future. It is possible there’s a related race condition style corner case that requires some additional client synchronization problem to exhibit itself that the OP stumbled into. Unlike the sig stone bug that generally left you with more stones than intended, this is one players should not try to replicate.

We know there’s been some, shall we say unconventional behavior with the game lately that was recently addressed by a hotfix, and it is possible the bug the OP triggered was in some deep way related to those issues as well.

    Good advice for the ages:
    Never use quick heal button

    @DNA3000
There have been others in the past who have mentioned this happening to them as well with Quick Heal (getting applied/charged, multiple times).

Don’t know if Kabam had fixed anything to (supposedly) prevent that earlier on or not (haven’t been as many reports of that recently, unless people had heard them here before so are more careful now ? Or just not using it because of that ?)

As to whether this is still some unfinished part of a complete fix. Or has been doing same thing ever since Quick Heal first came out.

In injustice mobile there used to be a glitch like this. But it would work "in the player's favour". Basically when you buy packs, we either get a "Confirm button" or a "Insufficient Funds" button.

So if you were to rapid tap(which would register even in the loading interface, just like the BG fight start button), you would get multiple "Confirm " boxes. And ewfh confirm would keep giving the pack

Lets skip the bs and skip to the chase, nobody is using quick heal and it should just be removed atp as its doing more harm than good by being in a awkwardly convenient spot to click.

Seen so many posts of people accidentally clicking it, that its a little concerning we havent had it moved to a different location or removed altogether

Nahh, I've used it because it's convenient. Yes, it's not the most optimised use of my resources, but it is fast and convenient

I've had it happen to me. I've also lost units when upgrading champs that were already maxed rank level ascended etc. it kept insisting I needed more resources for 1 unit and I clicked it and it did nothing.... except take my unit. Sometimes these things bug out. People always say computers don't lie or get things wrong...🤦‍♂️ Glad to see you get refunded though. Thanks dna for the quick work.
