Underrated champ, he’s got some cool utility and ramps up to some very nice damage. Not as fast as Venom in BG, but ramps to high damage in longer fights. Also his sp1 can on nom any buff, even if the defender is immune to nullify, and it doesn’t trigger nodes that punish nullify.
Definite W. Not as flashy as some other cosmics, but pretty decent damage & has some utility on the sp1. Dupe is basically pointless, so no need to worry about that
Cool champ with cool utilites, especially against tech champs.
If you ever face opponents with a lot of armour ups then his regens become crazy
Unlike venom, venompool can remove red skulls armour ups with sp1, since they don’t count as nullify but om nom. Also means his sp1 is good against other nullify immune champs or nodes.

I'm still mad that Venom's Om Nom was changed to count as a nullify. They should've just left it alone.
He was my first ascended 5*. Not the best, but fun to play, and some niche utilities in the right matchups. Don't sleep on his anti-evade buff or crazy regen from om nom-ing armor ups.

Don’t know who disagreed with this as it’s spot on.
The Om-nom might not excite people until you try it on maestro or serpent. Takes away maestros glance and will completely shut down serpent’s death immunity.
Used on red skull gets a juicy regen from his armors.
Completely wrecks all these irritating nullify immune champs.
He shuts down everything tech champ has, and ramps faster. His om mom removes buffs, bypassing nullify. He is a very unique and underrated champ. Also he is cute.
He had his 1 week of glory when released then forgotten
Just say you never used him.
Got r3 venom with stronger bleeds, armor breaks, sp1 heals from any buff, immediately shuts off evades from spiders and fat sp2 into quick BG and war fights,

Why I'd bother with scuffed Venom?
Comparing venom with venompool is pointless as they both do different things. Venompool is better to be compared with galan, he's like him. Shut downs all tech abilities and ramps up faster. He is not the best for bgs but outside bgs I'll argue he is a great cosmic champ.

Do you know literally any comparison besides “X is scuffed Y”? A champ has any similarities at all and all you can think of is “uh oh this champ is completely outclassed, there is no circumstances in this very complex game where this champ has advantages, smh my head what a waste of code”.
Venom is a great allrounder but can't really take bleed immune champions effectively, which a lot of champions in the Tech class are. Venompool fills that niche nicely since he's amazing vs robots (and the Tech class in general).
He has a somewhat slow ramp, but he also has several ways to speed it up. His SP1 has a decent chance to om nom buffs off the opponent and each such om nommed buff gives him 50 cooking charges. This makes him great against the Cosmic class as well, or mutants with prowess buffs. He's also immune to power drain, power burn, shock effects and armor break when fighting Tech champions, and whenever that immunity triggers, his ramp goes into overdrive in a similar way.
If you can bring synergy partners, he also has some amazing synergies that give him even more utility such as immunity to incinerate effects or stuns, or up to a 21(!)% perfect block chance. Among other things.
He is a situational champion, but there are so many situations that he works in that I'm not at all unhappy with my decision to r3 him as soon as I got him. I love that slimeball.

He’s not the best cosmic, but he can be quite useful in certain scenarios. I have one and I’m happy about it.

He is ok but not top...
