BATTLEGROUNDS MATCHMAKING

Kabam just selects 2 random same rank account to fight. Since everyone's at the same rank first days, I, as a 35 level new uncollected player always get some 60 level maxed account players as opp. If you guys think thats fair and people in lower acts shouldnt play BG for the first 1-2 weeks every season I really can not say anything. Fix that shi.

It isn't broken. The problem is Battlegrounds is a competition, and the goal is for the competition to be fair, not for all matches to be fair as in 50/50.

The point to a competition is for the strongest competitors to rise relative to the weaker ones. They are about finding the best and separate them from the rest. Like it or not, roster strength is part of player strength - skill, knowledge, and experience being the other parts.

Once upon a time, Kabam did actually match players by roster strength. It was a disaster, because it broke the competition completely. Low progress players would only match against each other, so a lot of them pretty much *had* to win a lot, and in doing so they would overtake lots of much stronger players who *had* to lose a lot because they were only matching against players with very strong rosters. As a result, tons of Uncollected players were reaching Gladiator Circuit easily, while tons of Paragons would be stuck in VT unable to progress. This made a complete mockery of BG as a competition, so it was changed to what it is now.

Because Kabam changed promotion to make it much easier to promote in VT, such uneven match ups sort themselves out much more quickly now. Winning gets two trophies while losing costs only one, so if a player is much stronger than the other players in their VT tier, they promote very quickly and leave that tier, which means they cannot continue to match against those players. It does take time, but over a season most of the stronger players are in the highest tiers of VT or in GC, leaving the lower progress players to battle it out amongst themselves to promote upward. But if any of them tries to promote *faster* than the typical higher progress player, they eventually run into them and have to beat them to pass them. This is intentional., and acts to make sure lower progress players cannot en masse overtake much stronger players.

So basically, this isn't broken, this is seen (at least by Kabam, and at this point by most competitive players) as basically fair, and even if you think it isn't fair Kabam isn't going to implement roster matching not because they don't think it would work, but rather because they know it won't having already done it and having to change it when it became a dumpster fire.

Everyone's NOT at bottom level Rank on first day.
People start some amount of levels below where they had ended up at last BG season.
So a lot of higher players start out anywhere from Platinum to Diamond (depending where they finished last time).

Encountering high players down at ground floor level Bronze basically means they don’t care about playing BG. Maybe only play it on occasion for some of the Objectives or Alliance BG Event, to qualify, etc.

Or maybe they did play a season at his level once, but then didn’t bother for several seasons afterwards (by which, they would have continued to drop each time until hitting bottom again).

But, don’t just Forfeit against them. First, you don’t get ANY points for your Ally/Solo Events if you forfeit. Even if you lose you still get half as many points as if you had won (so not bad).
And if they are not really serious about BG (which is why they are still Bronze), there could be a good chance they are just running some matches in order to get minimal points, and could actually LET YOU WIN sometimes (or at least, not try very hard, while doing something else at the same time).

But that much of a lopsided match, it would actually take a long time in fight if they were to just let your defender beat their attacker, so in example pic at top, they probably did just 1 hit to get it over with fast, then both of you could move on to someone else.

    It's a competitive mode & u haven't even hit the gym yet.
Uncollected you should push to story mode for 2-3 months as experienced player push in 15-21 days to complete it

You've typed this response so many times, I hope you just copy and paste it and don't write new paragraphs every single day.

its been 5-6 matches and all have been the same maxed out accounts. İ cannot **** use bg and somehow you can defend this. İ have 0 bg tokens 0. İ say okay maybe i can get an opponent thats my level and get into another match, another maxed account. That aint fair even if you say thats ehat competitive is. MCOC aint the only game that has competetive modes and its the only one that has only fusking maxed account matched against smallest accounts.
