Not sure what being a F2P has to do with anything, but as far as opening it, it depends on who you're trying to get and also avoid getting. Pulling one specific champ has a 5.5% chance. So you have an 84.5% chance of not getting the one specific champ you want. Anyway, this is the current pool, with the ones on top being removed in March and 6 new ones entering the pool.
OP, how good is your current roster? If you don’t get many Titans, you have to balance the desire to hold until you feel there’s a much better pool vs the reality that you might be playing every day with a subpar roster that would be greatly improved by one of the champs in the current pool.
I think much of the argument for hoarding and trying to improve your odds is outweighed by the benefit of consistently opening when you get enough for a crystal. Over time, you’ll be adding more champs more quickly and you get the benefit of using those new champs to more easily clear content, kick ass in BGs, whatever.

I think my roster is pretty good for the kind of player I am. I'm not really a competitive player, I never did AOA or showcase type game modes and is mostly playing for story content. I'm simply asking about how worth the risk it is to open it now really knowing how red hulk is there, because there are times when some titans have no bad pulls, right?
Even if Shroud wins, it will be awhile until he enters the contest so I'm not sure it's worth it to wait for at least 6 months to get a 5.5% chance to get him. If you really want to do it and you don't need any champ currently in the Titan pool, I would say wait. This game is fun when you play with a champ you are more interested in.

Well, without more details it’s impossible to help you assess the risk. Generally, if you are focused on a couple of champs in the Titan pool so you’re going to be disappointed. The rule I typically use is, if I would be happy to have 50% or more of the champs in the pool, that’s an easy decision to open. And I still expect to pull Red Hulk (got him recently).
Depends if you want to risk getting the worst ones in there. I'm waiting on the top line getting out of there before opening any, saving for March. Think the next pool is likely to be better than this. If you're only interested in Shroud then now I guess cause thats a long way off
Should I do (A), or should I do (B) instead. And then poll choices are (YES) or (NO) ? Can understand how answering the “poll” would be confusing.
But, yes, open now, if you like the choices, unless you're one of those that would have nightmare's if they pulled Red Hulk (too many threads to list about that, which I think you already mentioned seeing)
As for “ because there are times when some titans have no bad pulls, right”, you forget how people wanted to wait until this current set, because of the “useless” champs that had just recently been in there that just came off of the list the last couple times.
It’ll be a long time before the 2025 summoner choice champion enters the game. Probably two titan cycles. There are a lot of good champions in this titan pool, so I’d definitely open one now. You’ll earn many more titans before shroud or mr knight releases.
Welcome to the classic titan crystal experience. This time you get champion that’s been around for years that is limited by the meta of the contest…. Even though you went through content to obtain 20k of this “elite” shard. Next you will get a newer champ that is just above meme tier that can take about 5 fights. The next crystal you will dupe one of them.

Yep, I'm getting it now after this 😭 Lesson learned crystal clearly. I'm just risking it when there's someone I there that I really want

She's between two red hulks at least 🥲
There’s no way to “hack it.” Kabam purposefully puts in mid to meme tier champs into the titan. My account finds all the duds. I am not the only one. I personally detest the crystal because there is nothing like the feeling you wasted a bunch of time, effort, and items to be rewarded with a premium chase item that all too often means nothing. I would rather exchange titan shards for 7 star basic shards frankly.

I get that. Not too crazy about titans myself due to the limited options that it has while still not having the best champs for a higher prize and harder grind. I also prefer basic shards.

Look at the champs that are strictly leaving the pool and youll see that its only Arcade thats good. Based on that id recommend waiting for next one.
Arcade is an easy defender defender without nodes, but a lot of nodes make him tough

Does the pool always work this way?

Wow I read that wrong, yes, open it now

Save for Shroud
And still pull red hulk.
