Are you happy with new “upgraded” Sigil? Already feels outdated.

Boost now cost tokens and revives aswel.

Only worth really saving up for 7* crystals but are sacrificing tokens for revives and boost?

This “updated” sigil already feels out of date.

I liked it when we can trade our lower shards for bigger shards, now I have to farm 150k 6* shards just to open 7*? (I have huge roster so opening 7* is ideal for me as high end valient and have nonissues with iso or gold)

But overall I only really got sig stones… and used my 150k 6* shards trade and now waiting to get another titan crystal.

It just doesn’t feel premium or updated at all.

Yay I get to open 1 more 7* if I’m able to farm 150k 6* shards and waiting 12 months for a Titan crystal..

Some items are definitely worse. Some are better (sig stones exchange) - I don’t think that qualifies as an upgrade. That said, I spend $10 for quick, mindless arena grinding to save time in real life.

They took away ability to trade smaller potions for the Sigil ones which was lame of them for the "upgrade".

Also removal of 5-star Sig Crystals to be traded for 6-star Sig Crystals.

Same issue IMHO as the rework when they did it on Hood first time: they took away useful things and gave stuff we don't care about for most part.

When is Kabam going to listen and not REMOVE things we find useful and just add things that are updated?

Overall, there is absolutely value with Sigil as 4x Weeks gives the same price of Units at that price (slightly more actually) along with Arena Quick Matches and others.

But for being down/missing for 2 weeks, as a Valiant player, I expected more.

Yes they removed alot of things like trading smaller resources for bigger ones

    Especially gold for boost..

There should be something to trade in for abundant items with GOLD!

Especially if it’s alot of gold there should be option to trade gold for some small and even big ticket items.

Maybe have some kind of loyalty program,

A loyalty program for having x amount would be good idea and incentive

For 2,4,6,12 months of sigil subscription?

Overall, it is an upgrade - and is definitely value for money.

Being sold in the webstore means I personally save some money on it, at the same time Kabam earns more to reinvest.

Level 4 revive is nice - cant complain at having another stash of revives. Now means I can have 75 revives in the stash and ready to go before needing to worry about overflow.

Big ticket items like Titan Crystals, sure, they're expensive. But I care not - I can make use of other stuff in the store, and as and when I have enough, I'll grab a titan.

I think that's the core of the Sigil. It isn't to give you an overwhelming advantage. It isn't to give you instant and / or easy access to end-game / high-ticket items.

We get our $$$ worth of units, and then everything else on top of that is a perk. If you like the perks, buy it. If you don't like the perks, pick up the separate unit packs.

More disappointing than positive, although I think the overall value is still good.

One disconnect between the player base and Kabam seems clear. They think “premium” means focusing the store on what they believe are top tier items like crystals. While the players associate “premium” with having lots of choices. The ability to swap class sig crystals for example, while not game breaking, was always useful to me. The logic that they always have to take things away when they upgrade a store seems faulty to me, especially when the things they consider lower tier never show up in one of the other stores.

Still waiting for the embarrassing tone deaf wrote up of why Kabam crashed took away attack boosts for gold. I think he’s to scared to answer to the community

I’m not impressed with the *update.*. The boost pricing is just tone deaf. I’d also like the option to swap shards for shards, not just a full crystal.

Time restrictions also seem weird. Oddly, I cannot buy a 6* crystal with shards for another 27 days, but I’m able to buy another Titan in a week with credits?

The old Sigil gave me a productive way to burn low level heal pots. This one? Nope.

The payout of credits also feels unrewarding. While the old weekly event was getting stale, I knew when to expect credits. Now I have to renew the Sigil to get them. Just makes the entire thing feel spend-y and more directly connected with dropping money. And don’t get me started about the new extra step to unsubscribe.

And I’m entirely disappointed with the conversion of Greater Credits 1:1. They weren’t greater at all.

I’m hoping this was a first draft and there are some edits coming shortly down the road. Otherwise, this will be the first and last new Sigil buy for me.

It may have to do with the Exclusive Solo Event that was supposed to be a part of the launch but I have not seen any other information but what is on the website. Maybe you can get some answers

Disappointed to say the least. This update already feels outdated.

Having one currency to buy most top items in store is a downgrade. Previously, we could exhange more lesser items fo useful ones.

Yes the 7* sig is nice. Yes the lvl 4 revive is good. 1 t4A per month is meh and the imbalance it creates between t6b and t3a is concerning. The trade-in for T6b and t3a is also debatable. The loss of boosts for gold is disappointing.

Outside of some wins and losses in the store, I honestly don't see what this update brings to the table. For something that should have been done probably more than a year ago, this doesn't feel so good.

Let's hope the updated daily event compensates for that but it won't make the spend feel any better.

I really don’t like having to pay sigil credits for revives, boosts and potions. Consumables should not be the same currency as big chase items like the *7 Nexus, Titan and Sigil Witch. I won’t be buying a single consumable with credits and will cancel my subscription before the new month starts. On top of that, some of them being 10 credits is insane. I wouldn’t pay 1 Sigil credit, let alone 10.

I hope changes are made because right now I don’t see a point in continuing the monthly pass. The value simply isn’t there. Most months you will just be staring at stuff you can’t afford while you amass sigil credits again. That sounds like an awful experience to me.

    I haven’t touched sigil in what, 2,3 years🤷‍♂️
I checked the new store out. Nah!
  • ThomildoThomildo Member Posts: 551 ★★★

I still feel cheated of when I bought my 7* Sigil Witch, now they converted those credits to 1:1 to the new ones. I had to pay months of credits to acquire the champ cause IT WASNT THE SAME CREDITS.

You’re refering to the money witch. That’s what they do, leave you feeling cheated.

Cancelled my subscription 5 minutes into it. At the current state, I will not be subscribing again.

Good to see the 5-minute cancellation wasn't left open to interpretation.

As Kabam has stated recently, the negative feedback on the forum usually has no correlation to reality. The fact that there was so much web traffic yesterday to buy the Sigil shows that it was probably a huge success.

It's unfortunate that so many forumers are unhappy with the Sigil, I'm not thrilled about it either, I think it's more of a mixed bag. But then again, what else is new? Seems like the forum is mostly a place for disgruntled players to trash and complain whatever Kabam comes up with next. Some of the criticism is constructive, but overall the atmosphere is consistently negative. Makes one wonder why they keep playing the game and discussing it online. Addicted perhaps?

So where do you want feedback to come from?

Surveys? They already do that and those can take alot of time and volume already. If we all put in survey how we feel it would be the same

YouTubers? They voiced there concerns and those in community just like banquet event

Content creators? They give them feedback already, and look at champs like the leader who didn’t even get a buffed lol

People also voice there concerns in line chats but none of the people who work for kabam are there

and discord ? I’m pretty its the the same as forums people would still voice there concerns

It’s been years since Sigil was actually updated and now it’s here and they changed alot of good stuff to bad.

Like trading in gold for boost is not a thing now.

Cant even trade excess 5* shards for 6* shards, 1 step forward but also alittle step backwards aswel.

We ar going in baby steps.

DONT even get me started on a lot of events and rewards and outdated content in the game. Literally baby steps until we get new progress tier after valient lol.
Yes, I agree with a lot of this stuff. But given that the forum is a negligible part of the player pool, and Kabam only engages and listens for sentimental rather than business reasons, I just think we should try to frame criticisms more even-handedly (not saying this applies to you specifically, just in general it seems most of the comments are 100% negative).

For example, instead of just saying everything sucks, we can say: (1) here are the things I don't like about it and (2) here are the things I do like about it. This will make the feedback more credible and less subject to outright dismissal as disgruntled trolling.

Because, at the end of the day, if someone truly felt "cheated" and "robbed" and "scammed" by Kabam, felt that nothing in the game was worth spending time or money on, and generally hated everything, why continue playing and going online to talk about it? It makes no sense....

Right. This forum is (at least theoretically) the *official* forum.

Which apparently isn’t representative of the player base, if what I read is correct. It’s just a batch of long-time player-customers who happen to be particularly passionate about the game—nothing special really.

    Dr. Zola
Dr. Zola, those aren't my views, it's just what Kabam has said the data shows.
Is the forum "special"? It has to be "special" in Kabam's eyes, for them to engage so much with it despite it being negligible in the overall financial scheme.

I think two things are true:

    1) A bunch of people bought sigil to burn T3A and sigil points and won’t be re-subscribing

    2) Kabam’s subscriber numbers after the first month will still be more than acceptable to them.

As Crashed made clear - the vocal here and on discord aren’t representative to what they see in events or offers. That’s why the amount of (in my view) legitimate complaints on the store will remain unchanged. The Kabam social platforms don’t move the needle
