Two questions:

1) How long are his legs?
2) Can you ever out-distance the first hit from his SP1?

The reason I ask is that each time I try to fight him, his special attacks seem to cover more and more ground. This morning I was 2 dashes away, dashing back a 3rd time and the first hit of his SP1 still hit me despite his head never crossing the mid-point of the screen.

I know the 2nd part of his SP1 are his guns, which are full-screen projectiles. I'm not debating that. Only the flying kick he gives at the beginning. It easily covers 3x the distance that Vulture does.

Just dexterity evade just when hes about to hit you, you have to have good reaction speed for this.

I find it easy to bait his sp1 by watching his power bar and start evading as soon as you see his power drop, it can give you a slight head start to get the distance needed to be clear of the kick part of the sp1.

I put it the same basket as the spinny kickers taking a quick leap forward before actually launching the heavy even though when you are right up close they don't move at all and if you try it with a spinny kicker you just waft a gentle breeze in their direction instead of feet.

In summary, the AI are a bunch of cheating scumbags.

Yes you can evade the first part of his L1 and then block the bullets. Better to take him to L2. He has the cornered buff so if you use a bleeder he shoots up to L2 and he will never get a L1.
