Mcoc "lore"

Idk I just wish mcoc starting focusing on the lore more like the last time I actually cared about the "lore" was future kang. Just imagine, instead of new champs being mandatory every month we could have lore based ui changes (like now its mostly just straight lined boxes) events, it perfectly aligns with the saga model we have and maybe buffs to champs can be based off these. Just a cool idea, not ranting/ complaining

    What I don't like is how there's lots of stuff instead of focusing on 1 threat-there was Galactus, who was VERY disappointing, we didn't really see him at all.. and now there r Ouroborus, Deathless, Idols, Maestro. Why can't we focus on 1 thing lore wise?

    Bringing out this again,

    Lore is just going in every direction at this point, all I know is

    Collector trapped every hero in crystals, heroes said no and resisted, so collector took help of Scuffed Kang and Maestro, they lost, then heroes beat collector,

    Collectors brother came and said, "SO BAD LOL" to his brother and announced he's boss now, so then heroes beat him with help of Karina.

    Then spidergwen stole a box thing from Karina, she got corrupted and opened lots of dimensions, heroes beat her but then scuffed Kang got angry and took the box then heroes beat him.

    But what happened was Superior Kang from future came with very stupid intentions so Scuffed Kang helped us beat Superior Kang to return things back to normal.

    Then Oroboros popped from somewhere but they sent Glykhan to do dirty work, but Glykhan also sent corrupted Blackwidow, hulk and Ironman to do dirty work, Karina and heroes try to beat them but Council of champions said, "yo stop using dark magic or some stupid things" Karina replied with "L, cringe, get ratioed" and ignored their warnings and rallied heroes to beat Glykhan but they found glykhan laid trap and already was very close to destroy council but Karina somehow arrived at last moment and beat glykhan.

    There's also some act-9.1 story but it was very boring and was all over the place that left players asking Kebem on tf they're trying to tell?

    There's multiple separations of the lore right now. You have the story quests which is its own story right now completely separate from the monthly EQs due to people losing story from EQs like the Ægon EQ back in 2018 where the collector taught him how to channel the iso-belt to heal which brought Carina back which also happened between acts 5 and 6. Due to people losing story that was happening in EQ, kabam decided to separate story from EQ. Then you also have sagas which aren't just a device to boost certain champions and have effects on war, it also affects the story narrative for that time.

    If you ever have questions, Vin_Cent (the lead story writer for kabam) sometimes answers questions on the discord. He is really cool.
    I think EQ is just seperate thing entirely and doesn't effect anything at all,
    Non-canon thing entirely, just like Star wars episode 7,8,9 are non-canon and decentralised because you can't just, "Palpatine somehow returned."

    It never used to be separate as the infinity gauntlet thanos started in acts later in eq and then as stated with aegon and carina it went from eq to act so they do connect but now its separate as it was complicated and now with sagas its more of story from eq connects the saga

    I was under that assumption, but I'm pretty sure in the recent story content, they mentioned galactus with battleworld, so I am not too sure they are completely unrelated. Definitely wasn't the case before, but it was a purposeful decision by kabam to not confuse new players. If you look at the huge gap from act 5 to act 6, they discover that the crystals form a person and immediately carina and Ægon are there and things get hectic really quick.

    I definitely disagree with EQ being not-canon

    I think the side quest stuff should have *some* continuity relevance?

    Like whilst main story goes on you have side quests or whatever quests that go on which are directly affected by the story goings on.

    So let's say story has the main squad beat up a guy, the side quests just say what happened on another side of the realm in this time?

    I don't keep up with story much outside the Collector readings posted on YT so they may already be doing this?

    Mate I would love for something like checking on maestro especially since he's playable now so it's cannon that the summoner has him in his "collection".
