Necropolis challenge proposal: is it crazy...

To try and do the second half of each path with the limited pool available?
As someone who's only done a single run through Necropolis so far, I'm considering this.
After all, if I've got to do two full runs for the full Thanos anyway, why not use these challenges to set myself up for full Exploration?
But how does the second half look? Are the defenders in the second half of the map manageable with these limited groups?
And if so, which?
1 - Mutants
2 - Carina's Challengers
3 - Worthy Gods
4 - Out of this World
I'd love to hear from people who've done a full completion: what are your thoughts and advice on this?

Those challenges are really roster dependent. You’ll find anything you need to know on your favorites mcoc YT channels.
Maybe one additional info regarding carinas challengers. You’ll face the reverse control phase 3 of the grandmaster.
I used Wiccan although I received degeneration damage. The clue of the degen node is, that you’ll receive a percentage of damage of your health-bar whenever your champ is Immun to reverse controls (Wiccan).
However the node will not kill you. You only have to play perfectly, you will stay at 1% all the time.
The rest is really having all relevant champ at least at 7* R2
I spent 2000 units and 300 free crystala on pre pre nerf 6.2.2 champion, then quitted out. Then again spent 1500 units and quitted out. Then again spent 1500 units after the first nerf and took him out this time. You can never break this record 😎
And, to be honest, it's probably not that much harder than doing it with a freely-chosen team.
Now, as my death count will attest, I am not among the most skilled of players. On my first Necropolis run (back when people were still posting fight-by-fight threads on it) I contributed about 100 deaths to the Crypt-count.
I went back in a month or so ago for the ten-year-challenge and I died even more times than that. I'm not quite sure how many times, because I got so fed up dying endlessly during Grandmaster's 30%-1% Reverse Controls phase that my short-term memory took pity on me, and stopped sending anything to long-term storage.
On this Worthy/Gods run, I got a fairly comparable 99 revives:
Team: Juggernaut, Absman, Odin, Hulk, Attuma
First half (Carina's section) - 32 revives
Second half - 39 revives
Grandmaster - 27 revives
Total = 99 revives
More details below, in case anyone is interested. But yeah, it's possible with God's/Worthy; and probably Mutants, too. If you're thinking about doing the Carina's challenges, and haven't cleared Necropolis yet, then extending a Gods half-run to a full path clear is worth considering.
Titania - Odin (4 revives)
Aarkus - Absman (7 revives)
Omega Sentinel - Odin (2 revives)
Treasure Deadpooloid - Absman
Air-Walker - Absman (solo)
Captain Britain - Odin (9 revives)
Wiccan - Hulk (7 revives)
Psycho-man - Odin (3 revives)
Silver Surfer - Absman (3 revives)
Misty Knight - Odin (9 revives) - awkward!
Storm Pyramid X - Odin (4 revives)
CapSam - Odin (2 revives)
Dragon Man - Hulk (8 revives)
Cap Inf War - Attuma (2 revives)
Nova - Attuma/Odin (11 revives)
Grandmaster - All (a miserable 27 revives)
Some of those fights were harder than they had to be: Absman died two very stupid deaths against Aarkus, and that fight should have been closer to five revives.
Captain Britain = death by reverse controls. It wouldn't have been nearly so bad if all of her Specials caused reverse controls. But if her debuffs fall off whilst you're baiting out specials, then the reversed controls don't happen - except inside your head... So irritating...
The second path was pretty nasty: the Trap node turns off Dexterity after your Special attacks; and Surfer, Misty, Storm and Nova all have access to Unblockable specials; which leaves a lot of possibilities for instant death.
Nova is really nasty with the Trap node on this path; with the sheer number of Specials he throws. That was a nasty one, not being able to bring someone with a Dex-replacement for this, like Silk or Nightcrawler.
Odin dominated both paths. He was definitely the MVP, clearing 8/14 path fights; and I didn't even remember to use his prefights for anyone.
Attuma wasn't the best choice - he was brought in to manage CAIW, which he did really well; and as a backup option for Wiccan, since he can ignore both Tranquilise and Neutralise. He was okay; but he was definitely a replaceable option - if I was doing it again, I'd bring Angela instead; or Serpent if only I had him as a 7*. Or Heimdall would have been a good revive-saver ;-) I feel happier reading this very honest admission.
Thanks, man 😀.
