    Personally I've found the last few seasons I've barely reached GC by the end of the season because I cruise too much, but the other benefit is that, having a reasonably strong roster, later in the season I'm more likely to hit lower-ranked opponents who either forfeit or just aren't much of a challenge

    Hard same. Starting with five or six days to go, I usually get at least 50% forfeit rate in VT.

    I didn’t play for almost a year (summer 2023 - fall ‘24) so how far I can go is limited by my roster. I can barely limp into the GC right now. I knew the matchmaking was bad back when the mode was first released but it didn't affect me as much because I had a bunch of meta attackers/defenders however now I really feel it as most of the people I’m matched against in the vibranium and in the GC outrank me by a lot.

    I normally just complete the Victory Track, but rarely push in GC. I'm not an avid BGs grinder at all, I just do it for the objectives and BG tokens.

    Done one match since and that's all I ever do unless I am horrendously bored.

    Should add the option as a lot of people seem to do it which is tank enough to guarantee not laddering up to next level and then getting easy wins in a bracket for objectives and avoiding gladiator+ and guaranteeing no wins.

    rewards just sucks. When it wasn't as outdated as now, i used to tried hard my azz off to mysterium 1/2. Nowadays, just get into GC and im chilled

    Get to GC in about a dozen or so matches (my score never reaches 180k) then do 1 match and done. Milestones aren't worth it for me and URU 3 is good enough.

    i'm always around M3/Q1 most seasons, i don't "push". i just play when i can here or there.
    Very busy work/family life and cannot sit for hours playing. It doesn't appeal to me frankly with the grind people do to get up to celestial/M1 finishes.
    I love this game, the complexity, the difficult parts are the best things (including so call unfair defenders).

    Get to to GC, play 1 match, season over…have a break until next season starts.

    I did play further in the season where both milestones and season rewards where significantly better, a few seasons ago.

    I would play more if the milestones/ season rewards got better.

    Adding more tanks to BG never helped anyone but the devs to make the mode so boring that idk how ppl are able to play that.
